I'll be going to the game tonight, with my lovely wife. And I think she'll be rooting for the T-Wolves this time since they're no longer a wretched embarrassment.

Key Matchups:

--Martin must abuse Ridnour. That 2 PG backcourt is easy for any capable SG to exploit.
--Dally must contain Pekovic. He’s been beasting lately and can really kill us inside. I think he’s officially replaced Darko in the starting lineup after last night’s game.
--Lowry has to stay in front of Rubio better this time. Last time’s showing was pathetic.
--DO NOT put Lee or Chase on Beasley for even a second.

Don’t let it be one of those nights again. Stick Parsons on Beasley from the start.

We need to keep Minny under the .500 mark. LET’S GO ROCKETS.

 

I think the key to tonight's game is to deploy the same defensive strategy we used last night against Steve Nash on to Rubio.

Rubio is the engine of that team. He is still a rookie and is susceptible to a lot of ups/downs. If we play him for the pass (big man ignores hedging him on the pick and roll while the guard always goes under the screen, dare him to shoot from 18feet and out by giving him 3-4 feet of space) and deny that part of the game, then I'm quite certain that the Wolves offense will come to a sputter because they are devoid of primary playmakers on that team.

One interesting matchup I would've loved to see is if we put TWil as the backup pg for a few minutes and see if he can abuse Rubio physically. Too bad it will never happen.

 

Okay, Beasley was exaggerating massively there. He's listed at 6'9", Lee is listed at 6'5". Yeah, it's a mismatch, but he's not "almost a foot shorter" or anywhere close.

Still, I agree Parsons should be on Beasley when Beasley is on the court.

 

You can't convert your wife into a Rockets fan? You're a failure of a husband.

 

Hey, she's been fine rooting for the Rockets since I've known her. But there's something about Rubio.....

 

I predict the Rockets lose tonight. Rockets are a bad road team and Timberpups are much-improved.

Our schedule is bizzare we are playing the same teams over and over at nearly the same point in our schedule....3rd game against them already? Weird.

Scola needs minimal minutes, Pat needs more minutes.

I am not exaggerating but I think there are WNBA players who can play better defense on NBA players then Scola can.

The way I see it.

If your talking about yourself cause you converted your wife, then you failed. Picked a weak wife.

He at least picked a wife who likes the sport but has her own likes. Strong willed woman if you ask me.

So the lesson here is L2PW. Learn to pick wife!
