I don't get all this doomsday speak. I understand matchup problems but we ARE playing the Wolves, not the Miami Thunder, right?

DD would have you believe that Minny has a greater Big 3.

They have Love, Rubio and Rick Adelman.

Scola needs to exploit Love's weakness on defense. He should also close out on the guy much much better than he did against Bonner.

Fixed your post. According to DD Rubio is better than Lowry and Kmart combined.

I'm worried about the Love/Scola matchup. Scola's playing horrible lately, and Love's been in beast mode the whole season long. We beat the rest of the matchups though, so I think a blowout win isn't out of the question.

    A meaningless stat.
    We're playing a completely different T-Wolves team.

Love will exploit Scola's lack of closing-in on shooters...

What's different? It's not a Wolves team with a winning record.

That's why McHale will put Pat or Chandler on him, like he did against Bonner.

It's a different team. different coach, different players.

People can pull meaningless stats to make themselves feel better. The Wolves didn't start the season well, but they are playing much better now.

Then again, we are playing well too.

Personally, who cares, it should be a good game to watch.

I think the reason for that is that the Wolves are MUCH improved, they have the 6th best scoring margin in the west. Still not a team we should be afraid of though.

They also have Adelman who knows most of our players like the back of his hand.

Damn! I have to miss at least the first half of this game. This is the first T-Pups game I have been excited about in years.

I have watched every Rockets and Twolves games so far, and the Rockets are no doubt the better team. Rockets win this comfortably.

The scary thing about a team with a good passing point guard who can also shoot is that they can make your defense look real bad...and it takes more than a single possession to correct defensive breakdowns caused by a good point guard. So it'll be ugly for Houston's defense.

But we can take em. 113-97.

Too bad their point guard can't shoot.

Yeah imagine if Bud were still in our rotation.

Adelman: "Get the f'in ball to the guy Budinger's guarding. EVERY TIME"

Granted, Kevin Martin's still out there. But I am hoping Adelman is surprised at Martin's new-found (in my eyes) defense. With Adelman here he was a zero on that side. Now he's a zero only on iso plays; he moves around quite well now and plays passing lanes well which is good for the team D at least.

Agreed. K-mart is much improved on the defensive end. Hopefully we see more deflections from him in the future.
