Now we are still way ahead of schedule being a rebuilding team.

they are losing. so what do you want us to do? praise them or blame fans? i remember the time when yao played. everyone blamed other players but yao. now, we are blaming lin and everyone but harden. what a shame.

i am going to continue to put harden under the spot light as long as he is our # 1.

 

I don't understand why fans blame single players. Teams don't lose because of one individual they lose because of a vast majority of reasons that are usually attributed to multiple players.

Also we are the youngest team in the NBA we will win some we will lose some solely because of our youth & inexperience. The blaming needs to stop. It isn't just Hardens fault or Lins fault or PPatt & Moris's fault or McHale's fault either.

 

It's coach's fault.

A new coach is needed who emphasizes defense

There is reason why the word "hero" is so often used. It's never a team effort even when the team wins. Fans always look for one player to praise for accomplishing much more than anyone else. It's for the very same reason that fans look for one player to blame when the team is losing.

If everything is so evenly divided, shouldn't all players get the exact same pay?

 

This team is SUPPOSED to lose most nights.

1 Very good/great player surrounded by 14 average/below average players.

You could argue Parsons and Asik to be above average players but that's about it.

Can't polish a turd into a diamond.

 

I'd still rather have our high power offense back. 120 + points per game high powered. If Harden didn't score his points in our high power offense, we would get 95 points (120 - 25ppg) and we would not have had as many losses in the last 7 games. We ought to have run and gun it. But, it's only my opinion.

 

People are more upset with how they are losing.

They just lost to a team without their head coach and without every significant player on the team.

Rubio is still trying to return from a serious injury...and they let d-leaguers punk them around...a team that was on it's own 5 game losing streak.

There really is no excuse to losing that game. Young team or not. There is a reason why Calvin was angry at the half, he knows whats up.

 

They tried to go back to the first 24 games of the season, that's what happened. You know, making harden pg, making lin a spot up 3 point shooter. How idiotic can Mchale be?

 

What are you talking about? James Harden was the biggest part of that "high powered" offense, the team got figured out, thats it.

 

we will be fine this is a great team and i have confidence in mc hale that he will make them work beautifully again....perhaps he is experimenting or similar...

 

Actually if you listened to the commentary during this game, you'll notice entire periods when they went dead silent, they were so speechless because the Rockets were playing so bad.

 

Did you look at the last few games? They didn't even try the run and gun offense. It was all having the Lin and Bev as a spot up 3 shooter. Look about 1 page back on this thread, I think torocan had some pictures showing Beverly in 6 straight plays being a spot up 3. When we were winning rarely happened, if any at all.

the rockets uses many guys as pg that they can't even get the ball in bound. the rockets offense is easy predictable.

benched lin at the start of 2nd half? when rockets only down by 5? it only got worst.

is that mchale style.

Watched Lakers/Raptors game, funny how they played very similar to Rox. Down double digit right off the gate, playing catch up all game long, "old" legs, horrible defense, awkward offense,...... The difference is they have 3 hall of famers and we have 3 first year full time starters. I don't feel that bad now

 

Rockets are severely lacking that intensity and cohesiveness they had during the winning streak. Either they're tired, lacking confidence, or unmotivated (or all of the above?)
