We outplayed them for 3 quarters and only had a complete sht 4th..... makes it even worse.

 

We don't know yet. Probably the 4th seed. Not so good.

OTOH, it means we'll likely face the Warriors while Paul et al, are still healthy.

 

Maybe the Lakers bail us out? lol

 

Some role players didn't step up and down the stretch Harden couldn't close the deal. Sucked that this game had meaning anyway. A lot of squandered games this year. Rox couldn't have been resting tonight. Oh well.

 

For the love of God please let Portland lose. Even though we don't deserve it.

 

This team goes nowhere.

Choking every big game.

 

That is probably the reality we are looking at.

 

Damn but that missed ft by Harden

 

The biggest problem I have with this game is not only that they choked at the end but more importantly from mid 4th quarter their body language indicated about the coming chokes...no effort, let Capela hold the ball at the key for 10 sec. or so, Harden's brain froze, Gordon's pathetic turnovers.. the list goes on.

 

This is exactly why Harden haters say he's a choker.

He "flopped" to get 2 important FTs down the line and he bricks one to lose the game.

And people here wonder why Harden will not win another MVP again.

It's almost a guarantee Harden will have a terrible elimination game in the playoffs.

 

I think we were in the exact same scenario in 2009. The final game of the season was at Dallas. We dominated for most of the game but lost in a similar manner. Had we won, we would have had the second seed. Since we lost we fell to 4th.

It’s disappointing to let the second seed slip but more than likely the road to the finals will go through GS. Whether we meet them in the second round or conference finals probably isn't going to be much of factor in our chances of beating them. But this loss definitely killed any chance Harden had of winning MVP....

 

If you think your team is a championship team then you take on all comers.

They should not have lost this game surely but whatever, it's done. Let's see who we play tomorrow. I'm not scared of OKC, only so many times you can play from behind before it catches up to you against a team.

 

Im so disgusted and pissed off. We choked under pressure, and so much for CP3 and Green being hot from the 3. Why didn't they take the last few shots? Harden blew that 4th quarter, House didn't do much of anything, Gordon went cold, and this gets old. Denver handed us 2nd place on a silver platter and we couldn't even beat OKC. I am sooooooo tired of games like this. We've seen more than enough leads blown all year but this slap in the face stung the most of all.

 

Exactly!! Hello?? You have to go thru Golden State anyway, wouldn't you prefer your squad to be healthy? CP3's track record in the playoffs is atrocious regarding health. Beat the Jazz in 5 and go HAM in round 2. If we upset the Warriors we could win the WCF in 5 (resting for our finals opponent) which is likely the Bucks. HCA means nothing to a degree, you still have to win on the road no matter what. We wouldn't have HCA against the Warriors or Bucks so what's the point? The Rox need to take care of biz. No excuses.

 

If you go 2 min without scoring in the 4th just call a timeout and refocus. Letting that run happen was pathetic

 

And with this loss I don't fancy our chances in the playoffs. We've done this far too often this season, where we throw big leads against the better teams. Too many players go into hiding.

You can blame Harden all you want, but he was bound to miss at least 1 free throw out of 12. Tucker let Westbrook hit an open fast break 3, he definitely let George hit that game winning 3 at the end.

I don't trust Tucker and Gordon anymore. They go into hiding on the offense and defense in the big games.

Without Hardchoke as you call him, this team would be hard pressed to win 25 games. If you are looking for a place to put blame...try the guy that plays like he has cement boots on and is only good for shooting 3o ft. 3's and can't play a lick of D....I mean not an ounce...hear that EGO.

 

Leading damn near the entire f'in game. Up 13 going into the 4th. What kind of feminine bs is this...
