If Lin doesn't gift wrap the Thunder free points again then this game will be a lot closer.

If Lin decides to be the OKC Santa Claus then Brooks should play for him.

McHale will have Lin on a short leash the rest of this series, TRUST ME.

I hope the guys will focus and mesh together like they have been doing in past games. Go Rockets!

Luol Deng is way above Lin in terms of skills/experience, you can't even compare the two.

I think he'll be more confident this time around (maybe), but I still see OKC ousting us again. We might win one home game though since we are usually unreal in the Toyota center.

As Clutch pointed out in his commentary today, the team has actually been slumping for several weeks. Harden's shooting percentage has been declining. Parson's was out for an extended time. And Lin has been wildly inconsistent. The same pattern of untimely turnovers, cold shooting, and broken plays that has plagued them for some time continues. If they have any hope in this series, they must right the ship and quick.

Play Brooks when old man Fisher is in the game. Brooks might give us a spark from long distance that may make the game closer enough for an upset.

Darn it, I know we are all grasping for straws here, knowing what a difficult task it is to beat the Thunder, but what else can we do? Raise the white flag, french style?

Most of young players are not consistent.
It happens to all inexperienced team.

Lin is more consistent in NYK because he is the primary ball handler.

I would like to take this moment to thank whomever repped me in the last game thread.

I've finally got rid of the 'Royce White' moniker. Feels good. Now I hope "Jeremy Lin -can- get dangerously good". And soon. Need him to step up.

Would you rather have Lin with 29 points with 9 TOs for the next game?

Okay that was a poor attempt of a joke, but I hope he would be ultra-aggressive next game. I think that would command a lot of attention from OKC and free up Parsons and Delfino.

Anyway, I think this team is so weak-willed that they would lay down for the next 3 games. The players might be young and inexperienced, but they are smart and hard-working. Here to a Rocket upset.

Relevance is that, getting blownout in game one does not mean you get to be blownout for the next 3 games...

my guess is that everyone will play better, including lin.

    but still a loss.

unfortunately i see a sweep coming, with game 3 being the best game for the rockets.

You forget, Lin was also part of the scoring run that got Houston to tie the game after being down 13 in the 2nd quarter.
OKC lead kept getting bigger with Beverly on the floor.

    Are you a serious?

Lin was the sole reason we collapsed at the end of the first half

Beverley was the reason we were able to stay in the game for as long as we did.

We would've lost by 40 if Lin played 35 minutes.

    ummm no...

    3:05 Omer Asik turnover
2:49 Serge Ibaka blocks Carlos Delfino 's 1-foot layup
1:54 James Harden lost ball turnover (Kendrick Perkins steals)
1:39 Jeremy Lin bad pass (Kevin Durant steals)
    1:15 James Harden misses 25-foot
0:46 Jeremy Lin lost ball turnover (Russell Westbrook steals)
0:27 Patrick Beverley misses 24-foot three point jumper

Major part... yes, sole reason... no
