    hopefully we get a usual OKC game where their Big 3 are all wildly inefficient and their bench is subpar

    The Rockets should win this one, but they also should've beaten the short-handed Lakers and Clippers at home. And they shouldn't have been down 8 points early in the 4th to the short-handed Jazz at home. They've been slumping lately, especially on the defensive end.

    having a 9 deep team compare to spurs, gsw, boston who are all 12-14 deep is what's killing us

    must really hate the rockets best player for 5 years now.. should have kept kmart and jlamb and let jlin be the star

    wish we had wb amirite?

    good times for people like you now that cp3, cap, and lma are injured so rockets can lose and blame it on harden

    Would be nice to win but honestly id rather just be healthy. We know what this team is capable of when at full strength....

    as bad as our bench is we need to develop them

    we can try to win by giving Webber 20+ minutes, Black 15+, Qi 10+

    I've given this plenty of thought and I think we just can't expect anything from our 10-15th men. The kind of iso offense we play is just not good towards getting our shittier players good looks at the basket or at least wide open looks. Our offense is heavily dependent on Paul and Harden making plays for everybody besides Gordon and it is heavily shooter and pick and roll dependent. All the guys we have at the end of the bench are poor shooters and poor pick and roll iso players.

    Mike really needs to open up the playbook for those guys and play a motion offense type system to get those guys open looks and give them better chances to be successful at the offensive end. Unfortunately, thats not what our primary or secondary group play, which is why our end of bench players will continue to struggle to score. Advance stats support that we don't pass the ball very much as a team. I think that's why Spurs and GSW have successful bench units beyond the 9th man. We will continue to struggle so unfortunately we just have to get healthy.

    so is it Mike's system or his unwillingness or unability to trust & develop players?

    the thing is even when gsw and spurs are healthy, kerr and pops are still able to play 10+ players

    On Christmas Day James Harden is....

    5-0

    Averaging 22.8/4.8/5.2 on .486/.428/.795 shooting splits and only 1.4 turnovers per game.
