I agree, but I'm not talking about "should". Something being winnable is different than something being an expected win. I made the Utah comparison as an example of effort and smart play meaning excuses aren't good enough if you're not going to play hard is all. I dont think playing PHX w/o WB & Gordon means we have an excuse to lose by 40 (or 10), because we know they have it in them to try. One of the main benefits of small ball is that shorter players can run for endurance better than taller players and make the opposing team more winded. You lose that advantage when Harden is running the offense.
Classic MDA, he opens his mouth one day and lose by 50 points the next day. This team loses the little winning mentality it has when Westbrook does not play.
