Wish Pop was resting his guys this time. Tony Parker is going to eat us alive... again. Our only chance is if the back court goes off for huge numbers. At least Lin has the confidence of thinking about what happened last time he played the Spurs.

Spurs’ last two games: Dec 23rd and 26th and both at home
Rockets: Dec 25th and 26th, both on the road.

In the last game, the Harden-less Rockets shot 53.3 percent from 3PT, and the Spurs were uncharacteristically sluggish for much of the first half. Have a feeling that won't be the case tomorrow.

    1st and 2nd best offenses.

I have a feeling the Spurs will come prepared and pumped up tomorrow because the Rockets are on a roll, and the Spurs will want to send a message.

haha thats what I was thinking. "Hope the spurs have stifling defense"= horrible game for the Rockets and I won't want to watch it. Who would wish that upon our team?? lol

I think a win over the Spurs would be great, but a win over OKC off a back to back? Man we would seriously need to start talking about Houston as championship contenders if that happened.

BTW, I am actually rooting for the Spurs this game, but I love Hou's brand of basketball.

this is another game i think smith needs to play with asik. not start, just some minutes together. duncan is going to draw asik out of the paint and parker/manu is going to have a field day. put smith in there and you have another big who moves extremely well who can protect the paint. glad mchale tried this in minny and saw how effective it was for those few minutes. really turned the tide in that game. this game may need the same experiment...

My wish is that JH will get 30pts, JL will get 20pts, CP gets 15pts and OA gets 15pts and MM gets 10 pts by the third quarter - and that Spurs would give up the fight and that 4Q would be garbage time but would be nice for TD and CD to do their 3 pts shooting the daylights out session and we blow them out....... yeah wouldn't that be nice!

I didn't think we would win vs. NY or Memphis so I'm not saying we are underdogs, especially seeing in which fashion we won our last games.

Still think this will be close and a win would definitely pump me and make us a serious threat for WC teams that would face us in the 1st round.

If the Rockets win by 2 I'll be happy, but I hope they win by thirty.

We did last season when we had our Spurs killer the "Dragon" (dragic) but he isn't here anymore sooo yeah... I always have a bad feeling when we're playing the Spurs but we've improved since we last played them. Hopefully the Rockets don't take a step back this next game.
