We better take care of them early though I see another 38-40 minutes for Harden in the offing. Going to be close, that's all I will say.

P.S. This is the first I've read Adelman's lips after T-mac's disappearing act on on offense and he literally says: "...standing at midcourt. What was that??" to his assistants.

I loved watching OTIS THORPE play, & I love watching this kid play. A no nonsense, humble hardworking big man. Love it.

    Trap game.

Jose Calderon's trade value is being showcased while Kyle Lowry is injured (again!), so point guard defense is going to be key.

I also hope that Ed Davis 20+ point game with Bargs out was a fluke.

Trap game. Why must it be a trap game.

OT was surprisingly effective alongside Dream. I think I may have seen him shoot a midrange jumper all of...once. Twice? lol it didn't happen often, let's just put it at that

I suppose the magic was that Dream could go to work in the high or low post, and so spacing was never much of a problem.

Davis is better than Bargs. Better all around game and takes higher percentage shots.

I think most Raptors fans would agree with you. This has been something they've been grousing about for years, is that they are literally a worse team with Andrea Bargnani on the floor, while Ed Davis has stayed buried.

And the last coach who benched Bargnani was fired by Colangelo, so their new one is too chicken to do it himself. That whole franchise is a mess, but that sort of paves the way for a "proving a point" game by the Raptors, who are fresh from blowing out Dallas.

Bargnani AND Lowry are both out with injuries.

Bargnani has a right elbow ligament tear and strained wrist.
Lowry has a partially torn tricep muscle (yes, he's injured Again).

So, we're up against Calderon and company... which interestingly is coming off a win against Dallas.

This will be a good tune up to get ready for NY.

And if McHale keeps benching JLin in the forth, the LOFs may slit their wrist..

They need to rest Lin in this game so he can play better in NY. I'd start TD and have Lin play about 10-15 min:grin:

Toney Douglas will get the start.
He will score 40 pts, 10 assist, 10 turnovers earning him enough votes for the AllStar Game in a 105- 101 Houston win.

Not just a win against Dallas, a complete blowout. Dallas managed 16 pts in the 2nd and 14 pts in the 3rd. Ed Davis has been killing it now that Casey can't pull a McHale every night with Bargnani out (not that Casey doesn't still try very hard every night).

Can't find at the moment the sig with "Casey inserts 3rd PG" to make fun of his utterly frustrating and uglas Calderon-Lowry lineup a.l.a. Uglas-Lin.

This dream matchup between the NBA's two worst coaches since Paul Westphal may not turn out to be a cakewalk with Bargnani out. This is an early game, though. Gotta watch the Texans first and catch this laughfest on LP later.

    We know.

The Raptors are a better team without Bargnani, though.

Whatever they thought was once commendable about a slow, gawky big who shoots threes has dimmed over time given how he makes Patterson look like Rodman on the glass and is little more than a traffic cone on defense.

As far as Calderon goes, he has already demanded a trade, to the surprise of absolutely nobody who follows basketball. He is therefore being heavily showcased again during this mysterious Lowry "injury" period, and will play with a chip on his shoulder.

There is also the early Sunday game phenomenon, when better-on-paper teams tend to lay an egg.

    Trap game.

How have we lost to Toronto 8 times in 11 seasons?
