ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Raptors 11/16/2003

This is the 3rd Rocket game they're showing on french TV this week. Do we love the Rockets here or what ?

We won the 1st two (Heat & Suns), we'll crush the Raptors tonight...97-76...

 

If Carter tries that, Yao would have to duck. If Yao doesn't duck, Carter will wish he was wearing a cup.

That would be a prime time for Yao to show himself as not being a wimp, put Carter on his @$$. Or just catch him in midair if he has to, so as not to hurt anyone.

 

HHHMMMM. It must be a French/Chinese conspiracy going on........who knows what they have planned.

thats all and fine, but the Raps only have one scorer.

Vince is kinda like Marion at this point,, you cant stop Vince, you can only hope to contain him....which if you look at the numbers for the Suns game, they did a helluva job keeping Marion down.

As long as the Rox bring their defense today and run their offense like they can, a win is wating for them.

Dont underestimate JJ and Cat's defensive capabilities...if anyone can keep Vince fom going off for 40, they can.

and 40 for Vince is the only way Raps have a chance.

 

The raps have only 1 person that can really break down our defense, and thats Vince. If we can contain him, then no one else is a real threat. One problem might be Antonio Davis' ability to hit the outside jumper. That's gonna pull Yao away from the basket. We'll win handily anyway.

Did you see Carter grab Yao, hook him actually, and hold him down while he was going for a rebound?! No call!

 

yeah. Yao barely can move in that play. every one saw that except the ref.

 

Early in the season, Rocket obviously did not get a fair share of calls.

 

3/19 shooting in the first quarter!

 

this is not looking good. Raptors is a totally different team playing at home.

 

if yao ming keeps taking turnaround jumpers this team wont get anywhere ever.

 

It's not the Raptors good doing, its our crappy play.
