I personally thought the Rockets played very well in the first half...and closed the end of the game well because of Bev's heart/Harden's brilliance.

New Orleans has the highest scoring bench and it showed. Anderson and Holiday were both very hot last night. They kept the game from getting ugly. Not having good interior defense allowed the Pelicans to score 48 points in the paint(30 plus in the first half).

Ariza's hot shooting has helped mask how much we really miss a true post presence...Hope Dwight, and DMo quickly return...b/c trying to rely on Josh and TJones carrying post scoring is NOT a good idea.

Jrues eyes were too yellow. Either liver failure or jaundice

I didn't understand Capela not seeing the floor after the 3rd. Jones was his usual -19. Would have helped to have that height in the lane especially once Davis went down.

They were kinda hard to guard coz all 5 of their guys can launch from deep and without Dwight we couldn't capitalize on their small lineup on the offensive end.

I feel like if you aren't going to trust Capela against a small lineup then you need another backup center

The purpose is to have a quick , nimble player on the court at the center and PF positions . Big men dont usually fit that description.

    Typical Harden Nut hugger response.

They come out on full force after a win. Thanks Josh Smith initiating better offense

For a 7 footer, Capela is pretty quick and nimble. Regardless, better option than leaving Jones out there.

Yeah, what's up with taking out Capela? Without Capela in, Pelicans were driving in like no other. Capela was the reason we were doing so well in early in the game, not with his offense, but just his presence.

    Yep, JB was stupid.

It's McHale syndrome all over again.

JB's not stupid, just in over his head. His rotations are still maddeningly inconsistent, and the defensive system is not improved.

Guys are just playing with more effort since Smith returned.

Man I would love Ryan Anderson. We should've gotten him years ago

So maybe it wasn't the system that was broke?

It was their hearts....cause Josh left.

Yeah, or the players have no accountability, or JB really is stupid. Perhaps a little of all of the above.
