I think this game will say a lot about who we are. The team we've seen for most of the season would come out completely flat after a great win and drop this one. I'm anxious to see how they handle it.

 

Agreed! And considering the next two gams are SA and OKC, probably would be smart to go after this one.

Yeah, this is the game that will make me feel that we are legitimately turning the corner. We've had good showings, but a dud always follows. We need to start rolling.

True, I fear this will happen today as well. Need to get over that hump of just 2-3 games above .500 and it needs to start now!!

If I were an NBA owner in search of a GM, I would probably empty that GSW or SAS cupboard. They're obviously hitting on a lot more picks than anyone else in the league. The Rockets are just a bit more vocal about their strategy while SAS and GSW shut their mouths and just try to win. But a lot of being successful as a GM is keeping a low profile. One thing that to Morey's detriment (but to our benefit, for all the disclosure he provides) he has not learned yet.

 

The Nets did it in Brooklyn. OKC ain't Golden State or San Antonio at home, but they're still very tough to beat in their arena. I'm not saying the Rockets can't win that game, but they'd be heavy underdogs. So don't p-ss away a winnable one in New Orleans like they did last time.

 

Classic Rockets letdown game. One step forward, one step back.

Or they'll win and two steps forward(Mavs/Pelicans), two steps back(Thunder/Spurs).
