A confident Yao is an AMAZING Yao.

What a 1st quarter pass to Cato for the dunk.

Foster tries the fronting defense, and Yao just flashes the other way, gets the pass... another dunk.

When Yao has confidence, even the fronting defense can't stop him.

Whenever he has a good start, Yao was always a force for the whole game.

they need to bring in MJ so they can get some good passes to yao. Bill walton said it himself "YAO DOES NOT GET THAT MUCH ASSIST CAUSE THEY NEVER GIVE HIM THE BALL"

Turnovers are the biggest problem this year.

Only thing that will stop the Rockets from winning tonight is turnovers.

So far 7 turnovers are keeping them from having the 1st quarter lead.

Jeez the team acts like it doesn't know how to make a pass in the low post. Weatherspoon looks like a pudgy ******.

Here's the difference between the way the Pacers handle J. O'Neal and the way they handle Yao.

O'Neal so far has had no hard buckets. All wide open shots or mismatches in the low post.

They can't even get a pass into the big fella even when he beats his man down the court and has won the battle to fight for position. He's playing aggressive and they're not even rewarding him.

Great game so far for Steve Francis though.

It seems that if yao had the position they they would not pass to him and otherwise they will do and cause a turn over

hope y'all enjoying the game so far:

after the first quarter here are my observations:

put to rest the myth Yao is not aggressive or not getting position right now...

regardless of what happens later in the game...this is the what happened in the first:

Motay and Jim Jackson both threw extremely bad passes to Yao once, these were unreachable passes, JJ pass in particular went to the corner, when yao was in the post...

both Motay and Jimjackson ignored yao even when Yao was two feet from the basket with excellent position, and they failed to pass, motay shot, and missed jackson passed to the wing and then turnover..

you know that play when francis drives and passes behind for yao's 18 footer, francis loses the ball out of bounds, yao would have had a wide open jumper...

yao could have had 10 pts by now...

    speak the truth!

Just be happy we are playing well against one of the best teams in the NBA.

Two bad passes and youre having a spat.

I don't think 7 Tos in one quarter can be called playing great.

SF should have not made that shot at the end of half.

steve shouldn't have shot so early but damn reggie had cat in front of him and steve slapping at it from behind and still made it off one foot. dammit.

i missed some of the first but steve has played great the whole time. 12 pts, 5 asts, and at least 2 stls. and walton said only one of the TO's wasn't by a big man so i guess steve at most has 1 TO. nice.

i'll still be extremely surprised if we win. the pacers aren't just good in the east, they're damn good overall and they play very well at home. have to figure they'll start taking advantage of home court in a while.

if we knock off a wolves team that was on a 16-3 roll and a pacers team on a 12-1 roll, that would be amazing.

of course then miami would beat us and the board would melt down, so uhh, go pacers.
