So of the 4 remaining games, if we win 2 of them, we'll lock up the #4 spot, right?

Imagine if we put the starters in and messed up the momentum and we still lost, what are we gonna say about McFail?

Dammed if you do, and dammed if you don't. McFail just can't win.

Correct. Or only one if POR doesn't win out.

Okay cool. It'd be pretty disappointing if we didn't lock up that 4 seed soon... the starters could use some rest.

True...so you take of lesser evils and put the starters in :) Because that would have given us the best chance to win at the end. Anyway, moving on to the next game.

Well if Kings lose doesn't that give us a better chance of playing Portland?

Huh? We want Kings to win so we can clinch HCA sooner. But if you don't want to face GSW, you'd want POR to win so GSW can't catch them and overtake the 5th place.

Some tricky balancing act needed there.

For what it's worth, I mentioned our defense and Sampson yesterday after the Lakers game and after the overtime game with the Nuggets. I was not satisfied with the wins. A lot of ppl just made a bunch of excuses accepting the horrible effort and defense.

Denver holds on 123-116. DEPLETED Rockets have given up an average of 126 the past three games vs. depleted Nuggets, Lakers.

FIFY Feigen. Howard and Beverley needs to come back for the playoff otherwise we are screwed.

Eh, came out with no effort at all, looked like the Rockets came out expecting a loss, despite the fun little run there at the end.

Without Howard in the lineup we need James Harden to play well to win, and he didn't. This was basically last year's team, too one dimensional.

Our defense has been awful since Howard and Beverley went out, those guys are so important to the team. Not surprised to see our play suffer as a result.

Let's just get everyone healthy for the playoffs. Not too worried about this loss, but we need to play harder these next few games to secure that HCA.

Well, Faried presents unique problems. He's inconsistent as heck, but when he's locked in he can really make it hard for our front line to defend him.

As for Foye, the guy just couldn't miss whether the shot was contested or not. He was even making circus shots.

Didn't help that most of the team outside of Lin and the Vipers couldn't hit a bucket.

I truly think we could have won tonight if McHale let Harden and Parsons get some well deserved rest.

You'd think McHale of all people would have that mind set.

Or... If Portland loses a game, we only need one.
