If only we could have signed NeNe....

His numbers aren't great this year, but he would be great on the Rockets.

And yes, what I know now, besides the wifey, Kevin McHale was the reason he went back to Denver.

Gonna be a long game. We see the kraken unleashed, unfortunately that means we get blown out.

Is McHale's lack of coaching experience the reason or something that McHale said?

Great, now players are avoiding us because we hired a suspect coach.

Cynicism on the board is growing, by the end of February it will be in full bloom, along with Spring. This team, bless their hearts are going nowhere. Les and Morey are such geniuses...yeah right. And the "big con" continues.

What big con? The team has been pretty open about the fact that they think they need significant additions to become title contenders.

Do you honestly think a guy as smart as Morey believes this team can make the playoffs?

And it is impossible to make the playoffs because the team is currently half a game out?

What I do honestly think is that someone as stupid as you can believe this.

This. When you watch the contenders of the NBA (Heat, Bulls, etc) you realize how ill prepared this team is for the playoffs. Its just wishful thinking to believe we have a shot at a playoff run. Our mentality is tooo soft defensively. If by some MIRACLE we make it, we won't last a round.

Awesome response, honestly, good answer....no wait......you didn't answer the question.

And then you took the weak assed shot, shouldn't you be out celebrating with your NY buddies? Why are you even here, you only came because Van Gundy took the coaching job.

Why stay? You aren't a Rox fan....you are just a dick.

I have been following this team for many, many years. Since Les took over there is a pattern, the financial bottom-line rules. Just enough, but not quite. Keep them engaged, interested, hoping, almost, but no, not going to get there, not necessary. I have watched other teams, build, decline, rebuild, decline, and rebuild in the time it took this organization to decide that two oft injured players were not worth "building around" and when they were they couldn't or wouldn't build around them. I pull for the players for the brief time they are here, but the owner and organization lost my confidence long ago.

Calling Les Alexander to be all about the bottom line is just ignorance. If all Alexander cared about is the $$$, why would he always hire big names to coach the team, and why would he always spend $$$ to buy picks? Of course posters like you just forget these facts, because it doesn't fit into the profile of a penny-pinching owner.

When we signed Yao and Tmac, we had no idea they would have recurring mental and physical problems. By the time Yao went down the 2nd or 3rd time, what do you think we could get for him? Do you think we could have gotten a Dwight Howard or Melo package for someone who has been injured 5 of the last 6 years? Same thing with Mac, there was no way we're gonna get good value for him. Praying that those two put their **** together was basically thr only recourse the Rox had, trading them for scraps would have just resulted ina rebuilding effort, which we had done anyway since those two left.

So you really think this is a 20-year-long conspiracy? I mean, everything from Barkley, Pippen, Francis, Yao, McGrady to the vetoed Gasol trade?

Have we even beaten the Nuggets once in the past three years? I seem to remember the Rox getting schooled by them every game the past two seasons.
