Hmm that is interesting. Thanks for that info. I may have to adjust my opinion but it may also just be a fluke seeing as last year we gave up 11.7 Off rebounds per game and that was bottom 5 in the league.

Just noticed Pat Beverley had a +\- of +23 tonight and +21 last night. Those were the highest both nights. Interesting stat.

Whoever at the Rockets decided it was a good idea to wear the black unis for that whole road trip deserves a raise.

Those unis just solidify the notion that this is a new team, with a new look and a new identity.

Plus the black jerseys look pretty boss too so that's an added confidence boost. Genius.

Really thought it was a trap game - B2B after 2OT against the time zone-, but this group is mentally way ahead compared to last year. And way better coached. On the right track to Homecourt, I like it.

Maybe the number of away games helped that new core to grow together so fast, so the NBA might have done us a favor here.

 

I actually thought this would NOT be a "trap" game, because we KNEW it would be difficult so we prepared the right way.

In my opinion, the true trap game is the Monday against Boston. We're hella tired from this road trip, the team is probably exhausted. It's going to be tough to get that focus back and the energy level high come monday night, because we'll be at home and more relaxed off of a weekend of doing nothing.

 

On the other hand, everybody knows the Celtics are no joke, while the Nuggets aren't quite competitive. Last year's group probably would've been trapped by yesterday's circumstances.

 

No dude you derailed the thread with your attempt to keep Dmo while dropping a few of our players. I'm not the one to throw rocks and hide my hands. So you throwing this derailed stuff my way is pretty comical. All I did was disagree by saying we are not matching that offer. No you are not Bobby or DD. You are actually one of my favorite bloggers on here.

 

Is there a way to search for games where players scored x amount of points without doing it individually? Trying to find out the last time 5 different rockets players scored 15 or more points. To me that is the best stat of the night. I honestly don't care about Harden's average if when he's not knocking it down, others stand up.
