Because a lot of people have to get up really early for work and don't want to stay up until midnight for the game to finish.

Midnight, usually 10:30 games on EST end up finishing closer to 1 or even later like the Sacramento game that went to OT the other night... Suck as but s a fan it's a sacrifice I don;t mind making especially when they win !!!

I get up at 5:00am on weekdays so I needs mah sleep. I'm home by 5:30pm so a 7:00pm tipoff works beautifully! Gives me time to wind down and cook dinner before the game starts. Then I just kick back and sip on some whiskey while I watch the Rockets dominate, occasionally checking the CF game thread to see what the b****** are whining about on that particular night. Game ends around 9:30pm and then it's bed time. It all fits perfectly. I get to work, make dinner, watch the game, and get enough sleep.

But a 9:30pm tipoff ruins everything.

Should be a Rockets win, but Denver's a tricky place with the high altitude. Would love to see them sweep the next 4 games heading into that Memphis-San Antonio mini-road trip.

    Potential trap game:

    1. High altitude, home field advantage for Denver--don't forget that the game in Houston was contested until the 4th.

    2. Playing the same team twice in a row, so they have time for adjustments (I know they played the Spurs in between but still).

    3. It's on ESPN, so extra ammo for national viewers to criticize Houston as we crap the bed.

I hope we blow them out and am hoping Faried sits out, but we'll see.

Trick Faried into thinking that James is going for the all time leading rebounder for the Rockets and all he needs is 20 more.
