When James Harden is on your team, you have to know he will choke one game every 2 games.

 

No way Pacers do that. They're actually playing pretty well right now. Plus Lawson and Ellis on defense would be a nightmare, almost as bad as Lawson and Harden.

 

the spurs may have changed. look at their game against utah tonight: 118-81. and a couple of days ago they held atlanta to 25pts at the half.

 

Rockets got destroyed on the glass tonight..it wasn't even close. Pathetic

 

Rockets can't decide if their Alpha Dawgs 100% or wimps..they need to make a choice real quick because right now it's being made for them and it's not Alpha

 

there was a stretch i think it was the third quarter where there were two or three BLATANT no-calls against the rockets and a few ticky-tacky stuff called on them that zapped the team's energy. absolutely not an excuse to play the way they did after that, but i think it messed with the guys' heads. not an excuse whatsoever, but their body language was terrible after that stretch. and then denver went on that run, and that was that.

 

yeah the refs did screw the rockets in the 3rd but rockets lost this game by themselves. incapable of giving consistent effort for a whole game. just short spurts. annoying

 

In all reality, DMo probably doesn't have his sea legs yet. He seemed a step slower on D and less agressive than he did last season. On the other end, he jump shot looks a LOT better than last year. A few of those 3's he hit, he was well behind the 3-point line.

 

and to top it off Capela gets food poisoning...they can't buy a break...jeez

 

Will Barton is not a scrub. He is having a career year.

40% three point shooter this season.

 

I re-watched the game. and in all honesty, a lot of those rebounds just bounced the Nuggets' way. We're not that bad a rebounding team.

 

Our defense is just atrocious. It looks worse when we start missing the threes we seem to Jack up every minute. Changes need to be made soon. Rockets lack toughness and energy.

 

When the other team has 2x your amount of rebound it's not because of bad bounces.

 

Losses aren't so bad if you've been previously handling your business.

Rockets haven't earned much credit this year.

Typical garbage all the way around.

The Rockets really aren't playing any better than they were before, still losing to bad/mediocre teams. Just wait until the schedule gets harder and they could easily have losing streaks of 5+ games.

The coaching is poor. The defense is beyond just bad. Offensively they are inconsistent and don't move without the ball. They have done nothing to integrate Ty Lawson.

Howard is inconsistent. DMO was negative 15 on the floor.

Poor execution. Overall the least satisfying team in 30 years... Even worse than the Francis/Mobley era.

Get rid of the entire coaching staff and roster as far as I am concerned. There is nothing positive to look forward to with this group.

The streaking Pacers are trading their starting PG and C for two guys who everyone on this board hates and other teams see are not performing well? Sounds about right.
