Shaq: If Dwight can't literally be the best player in the history of the game... then I hate him.

 

Ball movement has been awful so it makes very predictable. Your petty insults are like the mavs flopping

 

Bev's defense is difficult to replace, especially when your 2 backups are > 35 y/o. Second straight year where we failed to plan for Bev's injury tendencies

 

I agree with Kenny. We don't need a rule change to do away with hack a strategy just need people to hit there 3a

 

Rockets are playing like they want a Game 5 in Houston. We need to get this win, today!

I have faith we put a better effort tonight and get this game in control. But I hate giving confidence to the Mavs because they'll bite back one day. Hope today is not the day.

Harden has to be in the game more. During that Mavs run, he was letting Smoove and JET start the offense and take majority of the shots. He has to demand the ball. He is our best player and he is the only one capable of singlehandedly getting the game back in the control of Houston. Mavericks were in the penalty and the Mavs have no one to guard him! He should drive every time down! Can't be invisible on offense like that.

Dwight played well but I agree with Shaq, he kinda disappeared at the end there. Has to affect the game every time down the court.

 

I thought the post here were stretching it regarding TNT's anti-Rockets bias but geez, what did I just watch? Even Kenny? It's messed up.

Boy I hope the sweep happens tonight.

 

Its illegal in college basketball... its illegal in the last 2 minutes of the game.

There's obviously a precedent to not have it be a part of the game.

If we make our shots at the clip we SHOULD... A couple more threes and and a slightly higher clip from the stripe we win this running away. A lot of their baskets and almost all of their momentum came off transition off our long shot misses. If McHale can't depend on guys like terry, ariza, prigs, brewer and even smith to hit open shots we're f@cked regardless of our "adjustments"

 

We played a lot, lot worse last game.

 

I'm use to Beverley bricking wide open shots, but not JET. Make Your 3s!

 

it's pretty awful with or without Harden

Harden is actually setting up a lot of open threes for everyone, too bad everyone's bricking

 

I think the Hack-a-Dwight took him out of the game mentally. He's afraid of getting fouled and sent to the line since he's 1-9.

 

we can survive the shooting, but the rebounds are all effort. if the rockets win the boards they will win the game.

 

Dwight only has three rebounds. Unleash the beast!

 

I agree. They have not matched the intensity of Dallas in their building. That's not having the killer instinct required to be considered a real contender. Hope they stop playing around in the second half.

 

Would like to see mchale put Nick Johnson on barea.

 

Our defense is unacceptable. Clips or spurs will eat us alive with this. We are playing against villaneuva, dirk, ellis, stoudemire, jefferson, barea... the worst defenders in the nba.

 

That has a little to do with the Mavs making a bunch of uncontested shots.

 

Treat it just like a regular season

I should not be worried about this game, sweep or not
