Espn clearly is surprised Dallas is down 0-3

This is the only series they keep showing how a team in that situation never comes back to win a series.

Can't imagine how much disrespect the next round especially against the spurs.

The Mavs will get EVERY single call on Sunday. All the complaining about the refs will spark change... sadly

Yep, and the league needs some of these series to be extended. 7 first round sweeps would be a nightmare.

This may be the dumbest NBA related thing I've ever heard. A team of flippers who benefitted from a terrible call to even stay in the game is complaining about the refs. Disgusted.

Loved McHale saying it was a great game if you like offense. I hope he will get us prepared on defense in Game 4.

    Go Houston Rockets!

If the NBA does not fine Carlisle and/or Cuban for their comments and actions, then I will be very disappointed. Carlisle is asking for a fine by calling out the referees and if he doesn't get one, something is obviously very wrong. And Cuban basically showed up the Commissioner by yelling, "THIS IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!"

They should at least get a warning, right? Right? :(

My hope is that this has an adverse effect on Sundays game against the Mavericks. Instead of them getting every call like what most of us expects, they get even fewer calls. I don't think referees like being called out like what Carlisle did tonight.

It starts tomorrow though. If the NBA does not fine the Mavs for flops, Carlisle or Cuban tomorrow then we know how Sunday will go.

    ^^^

Dwight was absurd tonight. Dude gets mauled every possession but still manages 26 boards.

Well, let's not forget how poorly Harden played last year and the year before that in the playoffs. People have a reason to be skeptical. That being said, this and next series will be the first series where Harden doesn't have to go against a super elite defensive team or defensive player.

Mavs obviously not a good defensive team. And Spurs aren't known for being rim protectors either. Next series we need role players and Harden to step up together in conjunction.

    "Game over. Game over.
And now Mavs have confidence going into game 4. 2-2 new series. Might as well just get on the jet and go back home to Houston if they are going to play like this.
    Embarrassing."

    Perspective, man, perspective.

This is true, but I don't think 2014 James Harden is the same player as 2015 James Harden. Better leader, better scorer, better defender, and more willing to make the right play rather than forcing it.

Howard dominating and Smith/Brewer/Jet capably performing offensively have gone a long way towards Harden improving his game in this series. The Mavs certainly aren't a good defensive team, but we have a lot of guys playing their best ball at the right time of the year.

Actually, I don't buy that. One year doesn't always carry over into the next. The Sonics got knocked out twice in the first round, once as a #1 seed in 1994 and then in 1995- and then they go to the Finals. We win it all in 1995, and then get swept in 1996. I don't think you can use 2 years as a fair sample- different team, different year. It's not always good to be skeptical.
