Now I think I'm starting to understand you, but still... coming on here after a win and dogging our players doesn't sound like you're a fan. My memory might be wrong, but you launched straight into the one bad play by Clint and never acknowledged the good ones. (there were several). Never acknowledged the victory then said "but". That's pretty off-putting and your point doesn't come across.

Mavs don't care if they are trying to Tank this season.... they always try their hardest to win vs the Rockets.

The ugliest of wins....but it is a win.

Earlier in the season the Rockets don't win this game.

This is why you HAVE to have a defensive backbone. There will be crappy offensive games. The defense HAS to carry you through that. That is what we saw all last season.

So what about the non perfect passes that he converts at a high rate?

He does not stop so many perfect passes he has some of the best hands in the league.

Why are you ignoring all of the great catches which happens far more than what you are complaining about.

So you can't admit you are already wrong?

    You have lost all credibility.

This game almost gave me a heart attack. So did the refs. At least my prediction was only off 11 points.

We both know that D'Antoni won't change his outdated philosophy on rest. Both Harden and Chris Paul should resting against some of these teams and and CP for back-to-backs, but nope, gotta keep working overtime in the regular season.

He has to know deep down that Paul has already played more games without being injured again since he has all season. He also has to know that what happened last year in the playoffs with him not making it all the way to the final game could happen again, especially if he keeps playing up until the playoffs. The last thing we need is him to strain a hamstring or have a sore knee just when we start the playoffs. Hopefully weighing all the odds will tip his mental playing philosophy the smart way and rest him some to lessen those odds that his injuries come back to haunt us 2 years in a row. We will more than likely need him and James both to take it all.

So, do we rest James now with his sore wrist for a week, and then start playing Paul less games before playoffs start to at least have a better chance regardless of who we face? I think slipping down a notch or 2 is a better risk than playing with "less" in the playoffs actually. I say yes to rest.

I think Dantoni's justification is that the Rockets don't have as many practice sessions relative to other teams in the league thus they was actual game time against average to below average teams as practice.

Again, that's totally outdated philosophy, and he has thought that way since the beginning (overworking your players to develop a rhythm), and it has never proved him right. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. This is what's concerning about him as a coach.
