Seems like it. Theyve given them 22 free throws in the first half already.

 

Capela definitely having his best game since coming back.

 

Unsurprisingly....the Mavs are a bad team, so the Rockets are playing bad.

Need a big 2nd half

 

Running with rotation he came up prior to game and not reacting to actual game

 

It reflects poorly on the coaching staff that we can't get up for games vs bad teams .

Part of your job is instilling that competitive/killer instinct

What the **** are we doing ?

I know you can't win the game in the first half. But , you can make it so that if you show up in the third , the game is over and the bench gets put in .

BTW, Harden should not have been in the game for last few minutes of second quarter with 3 fouls.

...especially given that he has fouled out a couple of games recently.

There is another example of Mike's horrendous game management.

 

Whelp, followed-up a shtty end to the 1st quarter with a shtty end to the 2nd quarter. Why have a whole bad quarter when you can just split those piss-poor minutes between two?

Also.... the Mavs have shot 22 gdm FTs. They're not even attacking the rim much, it's just like 7-8 bs calls. Sigh. I don't like how we're playing at all. I love Harden to death, but his decision making is a part of that problem tonight.

 

its good to know we have four players that are capable of getting 30+ any time.. well I will say 3 and Paul probably can cap at 25.. with Harden a lock for 30 a game.. buts its good to have four viable options with two (paul and James) not working and we are still leading.. I am hoping all four engines go off for the warriors game.. it will be quite a feat to sweep them.

TBH I really don’t like when James plays like this.... in the past he was willing to PnR and killem with capela if they were overplaying him now tho it seems as tho he’s trying to force himself into a rhythm......

Hopefully it pays off in the playoffs tho.... maybe he’s working on the mental part of his game..... for the inevitable schemes designed to take him out

Yikes . If those go in that makes a big difference . We get points and Dallas has to take it out of the basket .

But even shooting that poorly , we should be up more . Shumpert played like a total bum and we haven't run the pick and roll enough

 

I will say Harden has developed that Kobe ability to get his shot off at any and all times very quickly...but damn, doesn't mean you have to always force it when it's not there.

Ever since the Scott Foster call out, it feels like James is getting officiated different. Something to keep in mind as we prep for the playoffs.
