9:30 central is late? the game would be finished before midnight if you are in houston.

yes, I stay up past my bedtime for a game like this, right after I take an oil bath and some warm milk.

It's late if you have to wake up at 6 am in the morning for work the next day.

i see your point but it's not like a new thing having a West Coast game at this hour. it's always been like this and usually folks dont discuss their contigency plans.

sorry for the nitpick. I hope you find a solution.

    go Rockets

    Beat LA

This Lakers team doesn't look unbeatable at all, especially when our biggest strenght matches their biggest weakness at point guard spot

It's a first time when I'm optimistic this season

    Don't want to overreact

Kobe probably shouldn't even be playing right now with his bad wrist, and his poor shooting percentages are showing for it. the rockets can put together their best game of the season tonight.

If Rockets can contain Bynum and Gasol, they have a good chance of stealing one at Staples Center.

Finally, a game I can watch on cable. Thankfully, I catch both Lakers and Clippers games here. Should be a wild couple of days.

The thing I'm worried about is that LA has two big guys that can both put up 20 points on any given night. The two teams we lost to were strong in the middle as well (although Orlando didn't use that strength as much as Memphis did).

But after playing the Memphis game, they might realize that and game-plan for that "weakness".

Honestly, I wish I would see them crash the paint more. I could live with Fisher and Metta "Ron Artest" World Peace jacking up 3s.

I'm feeling uneasy about this game. The Rockets have been terrible on the road so far this season. A win here could go a long way and maybe help turn the tide a little.
