Idk what to tell you but if you think this is gonna be reflective of how they are gonna play the lakers, than that is just flat out wrong. If they have two bigs, they will get played off the floor.

 

Both our superstars and PJ played below their standards but of the 3 only one had 35 points.

 

AD, Dwight and Lebron are better frontcourt than Gibson and Randle.

Vogel is a good coach he is gonna watch tape how Knicks almost doubled the reb total of the Rox this game and find a way to replicate that.

 

What a missed opportunity. Looking at 40-20, and being 1 game out of 2nd seed, with our next game being against one of those teams.

His shooting performance prior to that situation is irrelevant. Any player can make a buzzer beater 3pt shot..... regardless if you're shooting 0-10 from the 3pt shot. As I said, I would rather Harden take a 3pt contested step back for the win than Westbrook taking a tough deep mid-range when we know he isn't the best shooter. And we know Harden can get open from a step back.... and we know he can hit contested 3pt shots.

I don't know why you're getting defensive about Westbrook for. I wasn't even saying he played badly or that it was his fault he took the shot. That's simply goes to MDA. He's the one who called for the play to let Westbrook have it there. Everyone else knows you go for a 3pt shot in that situation.

 

Lol Dwight cant guard Russ and neither can AD(though he can do okay). Let me refer you to when we beat them the first time where were definitely not coasting.

He blew a layup to win the game. It doesnt really matter. The team didn't put themselves in a bad position and tried to ice skate uphill all game.

They can still call them. Besides, Harden can still win you the game with an open step back 3pt shot..... and he knows how to hit them when they're heavily contested.

Russ was also really bad dude. Dude has 6 TO and had a negative plus minus for the game(the rest of our starters were positive).

 

So you saying Julius Randle and Taj Gibson are more athletic than Dwight, AD and Lebron?

When we meet Lakers its gonna be like today, either in 2nd round or WCF they aint gonna have fresh legs due to Pringles lacking roster mgt skills.

 

Because the rest of the starters aren't playing with that bench unit that can't defend.

 

Harden has a history of struggling to get shots off when being pressed really hard in late game situations. I trust Westbrook to actually get a shot off with his speed during situation when teams press up on defense during clutch situations.

Overreacting on CF. This fandom thinks Rockets should never lose again or they shat their pants.

Rockets had no reason losing this game but this is an outlier, not a trend.

 

Ya Russ plays with EG and Mclamore a lot more while Harden plays with Covington and House a lot more who are better defenders and EG is having the worst stretch of his career currently.

Right on but it's ok though because they need to learn the lesson. The Rockets have to use their style with intelligence. The Knicks are a young undisciplined squad. They needed a fast paced game to get into rhythm. In a game like that Russ doesnt need to push the ball up James must do it to force the Knicks to play a slow methodical half court game. They will make mistakes and their execution will be terrible. This equates to the Rockets taking control of the game and winning by 15 to 20. Remember that same pace beat them a week ago. MDA has got to employ his offense the best way for the game as it's being played to keep the advantage or pressure on the other team
