Not all on Harden as everyone played like **** the whole first half and played soft on D all game long, but Harden is slipping gang, this isn’t a 2 month long slump, he definitely looks slower and more labored this year over all, and he just can’t stop shooting bad 3s when he isn’t on no matter what the score is ... PJ was worthless tonight !
Exactly, it shouldn't have gotten to that point. But that's what can happen when you let bad teams hang around. Anybody can win a 1 minute game.

Consistently getting beat or played very close by bad teams all year. Last year too. Dantoni is definitely partly responsible for that bs. harden just cant get it done in crunch time very often. His low basketball iq and choke plays have always killed us at winning time. I know a lot of young rocket fans love him, and I get that. I grew up idolizing a much better winner in Hakeem Olajuwon. Harden and WB are historically bad at crunch time. Dantoni is a terrible terrible coach too. Just rolls the ball out and hopes we win. Zero adjustments and lets his players go unchecked when they do really stupid **** on the court. This is a VERY undisciplined team on both sides of the court. Lets just hope our 3’s fall is our only strategy. We dont even work hard for good shots its just jack city every night. Just cant win consistently that way.
I can careless about a loss in the first week of March. But this is how we can get killed - by crashing us on the board hard. How do we address this?
This is what is gonna happen in the playoffs its gonna get physical and refa gonna swallow their whistles. We can see here why I'm not a fan of Pringles he can only coach one way and can't adapt to situations. If he coaches like this in the playoffs then the Rox probably lose in WCF again and he doesnt deserve an extension. Also seems like Harden and co. got overconfident after that string of wins they thought they can flip a switch and win it anytime they want.
I hate we loss this one , but we should of loss the Cs game if we’re being honest. I’m glad we’re going into the Clippers game with an L. More motivation to win.
Why didn't we let Harden take the 3pt shot there? We know he's good at getting fouls from the 3pt line.... and we know he can hit contested 3pt shots. Also, I doubt they would have even tried to contest Harden in that situation so he probably would have had a slightly open 3pt shot. As I said, any other coach and team would have went for the 3pt shot. It boggles my mind why we went for a 2pt when there was only 4.6 seconds to go and when the Knicks have not gave much up in the paint all game.
So all those gains winning 7 in a row beating good teams and you go lay an egg to a terrible team. Unreal ok. Just checked box. We got shat on on the boards.
Watching Harden slowly walk up the court , running precious time off the clock, when you're down, is annoying as hell

coach draws up a play with 4.5 seconds left that gets Russell Westbrooke the ball isolated against a rookie (a good rookie) with a lot of room to work and very little chance for the Knicks to double . . . I don't see how that's a stupid play to draw up. I think it turned a 20% chance of winning into a 60% chance of winning.
