I agree. Arco is a bad place to come out flat and let the Kings feed off their crowd. We come out strong and go on to win 98-85.
kings are struggling and I think they have loss 4 in a row now. They are coming back home from Portland, and I think it doesn't matter where they play. Sacramento has no chemistry, seems like a group of players that are just playing and not playing to win. The only player that seems to actually try their hardest is Martin. I think the Rockets have a great chance to win, and hopefully they pull another win. Go Rockets!!!
Rafer's confidence rising! Batman getting comfortable hitting 3s! Juwan putting up good numbers! Head clutch shots as usual! JLIII taking advantages of his time! Tmac's scoring inconsistant but playmaking IQ rising! Mutombo surprising everyone and may get more minutes when Yao comes back! (scary for opponents with Yao & Mutombo active) Hayes still having foul trouble but improving his scoring! With sooo much improvement in our team... Yao is yet to come back! (25+ pts) Snyder yet to contribute! Bozi is yet to show us his A game! With all these talents, still left with... Novak Vspan Padgett You get the idea... I say we are creating fear in the west and a great competitor come playoff time. I can't see why we can't win against Kings!
That worries me as well somewhat but i'm fairly confident T-Mac can outsmart him and draw fouls. Artest tends to be a bit overaggressive (word?) on defense and T-Mac usually toys with players that try that approach.
My keys to the game: 1. Take the crowd out early - Arco arena is insanely loud and provides great energy for the team. 2. Shut down (Kings' leading scorer) Kevin Martin - Put Batman on him. Simple as that. 3. T-Mac has to pick up his scoring again. Although this Kings team is terrible right now, we're about to face some very high calibre teams and we need McGrady's scoring at full flow. Plus he needs to prove Ron Ron can't shut him down. Both teams are traveling on a back to back although the Kings are at home. Relatively close game but I'm saying Rockets over Kings 88-82
i'll just be happy if TMac can shoot at least 70% on ft's. Good lord Mac, make a ****in ft. He is definitely got a problem right now
oh man, tough tough finishing a back to backer in arco arena. bottom line is we need tons of energy to start the game, put them away early. this is a game in which tmac has to set the tone early.
I'm worried about this one after seeing the boys run out of gas last night. If this were a good team, I would predict a loss. But it's Sac., so, win.
Back to backs for both teams, both teams traveled last night, no excuses. The Kings have Arco, but the Rockets have Batman. Whoever has the most "want to" wins.
man i always say win, but with this one i don't know. Right now i think a loss but hope a win off course. Artest and miller are back right? And what's up with the chat? It didnt work the last two games for me. Is it my system or am i banned or something ( last time i checked out at the end of the game i just checked if the cussing check out worked ).
hm, finally the pacific cable is fixed and I can browse clutchbbs again. I guess this is another win but will be a tough one.
tough back to back....that crowd gets into it...we need to jump on them early ....if bibby and artest get hot, it will be hard but I think we can do it.... Rockets win 98-95
Man, the guy on the other thread was right about you...try seeing the glass half full instead of half empty all the time....I understand you are being more realistic then most of us who predict a Win everytime..but its why we are fans and we hope for the best...even if we arne't as confident, we don't stay it....most of the time you have good posts and I like your opinion but just once in a while try to sound a little more upbeat....
