I like how when we lose...it's Harden's fault and Harden's fault alone, but when we win, it's because "Harden finally to moved the ball!".

Harden's D is even worse than other offensive superstar's Ds, such as Melo, etc. That's saying something.

Reading this commentary is comical....didn't realize harden can guard four different players all at once for the entire game.

Man this a team game and the team did not show up. To blame the lost on one player is plain silly. Get over it on to the next game. The Rockets need to take care of the 3 game home stand and get healthy.

Parsons points were missing but he doesn't answer this teams defensive issues...

We definitely missed Parsons tonight but in games where your short handed your "superstars" need to step up. Harden did score 37. Howard didn't impact the game enough. Parsons appears to be the second most important player on this team.

lol @ people saying harden was bad on offense. besides that crucial turnover, he was good on that end. it's his matador defense that is killer. Seriously, he just gives close to no effort on that side, its sickening

Overall, it's not Harden's fault, but he did make that crucial bad pass at the end.

I think Lin's best virtue on this Rockets team isn't his efficient shooting, playmaking or his drives to the rim, things that Harden plus our 3pt shooters can replace.

It is his pushing the pace in transition, even if nothing is on. Just keeping pushing on the pedal and soon enough a crack will appear.

Parsons roaming the court was sorely missed today.

While I agree that he should try harder on defense - the Jazz made tough shots. It´s not like they got open layup after open layup. And it`s not like they got that many open spot up shots. They used a lot of screens, and we didn`t defend that well - basically no G did. But the Jazz had their best shooting night of the season, by far, because they made their tough shots.

Without Harden tonight it would have been a blow out. When noone was making a shot, Harden took over. He didn´t only score, he also got everybody else involved. He got us the points when we needed them.

Did Harden give up any points in the last 5 minutes by bad defense? No. We gave up rebound after reboung and had bad turnovers and some bad decisions on offense.

People are seriously exaggerating Hardens defensive problems. In the 4th it was Brooks, Casspi and Beverly that got abused. And when people make a shot with a hand in their face, that`s not bad defense.

They're glue guys. Both bring intensity and 4th quarter heroics. Were missed tonight.

Late the guy tossed the ball away on a crucial possession, when you score 37points but give up the same on defense, it is not really all that great, now is it?

Harden needs to commit to trying on defense, at least staying on his man, in the same zip code, the guy just watches the ball and leaves guys wide open.

Hayward had a career night against him, then when he switched he left people alone for wide open looks.

Ridiculous when your best player is that lazy.

This game could have and should have been won, if our best player would have shown up on both ends of the floor.

Well yes, you're right. I meant if you don't stamp your authority on them and take a big lead.

Sorry, this is such a bad defeat to take that I'm losing track of my words and sentences

My god would you people relax. Lin is out, Parsons was out and this clearly shows how important he is, Brooks played badly, it was and ugly game all around and yes it is embarrassing, but **** games happen. Quit with all the "we suck we suck" talk. For goodness sake the Celtics beat the Heat earlier this year and the bobcats came within one point of doing the same thing. Bad games happen. Let's get healthy, we will be fine. The negativity on this board is unbelievable.

Some of you are always so damn eager to place the blame at the feet of one person, and it's ridiculous. AB did not lose this game. Sure, he wasted some possessions. But interestingly, nobody had a problem with him "going hero" when he made that big 3, drew the foul right after and made the FTs. 2 games ago, he's an all-star level PG who deserves to start, and now he blew the game?

How about Harden playing virtually no D and making that stupid pass? How about Bev and that ill-advised foul on Favors? How about T. Jones being pretty much invisible the whole 48 minutes? Dwight and his lack of offensive threat? Asik and his IDGAF attitude? Our TEAM defense sucks. Everybody who set foot on the court contributed to the loss, just like everybody who set foot on the court Saturday contributed to the win.

I don't know what's so appealing about scapegoating, but it's beyond ridiculous. Especially on a night like tonight when there's so much obvious blame to go around.

**** liabilities on defense harden and brooks...those 2 should NEVER be in together, 10x worse than Harden and Lin.
