This!! Can't stress this enough, yes I was a big parsons fan, but this is ever so true. Ariza is so good on D. better shooter and better fit. Papa is a great bench piece and if Morey can do work and just add a piece to the bench, or better still a PF we would be insanely good. at the end the day we have managed to win by double-digits on the road 2 days in a row to start the season. have to be happy with that regardless of the opposition

    Takeaways from these two games.

    1. Surprised at Ariza's volume of 3s. Never doubted his ability to hit them, but doubted how many 3s he can take. If he can average 7 3s a game, then we got a huge bargain.
    2. Was a little scared of this game because Jazz homecourt is always annoying with the refs on their side. Coming off back to back, glad we won.
    3. Good to see Papanikalaou hitting some 3s
    4. 2 Road wins is 2 road wins. Even though the opponents suck, still very important.

Honestly I think the more urgent matter is backup Center and PG instead of starting PF. Jones has done a commendable job and Dmo can backup decently enough

Am I the only one who rather sees KPapa at the 4 as backup than D-Mo?

The D is what will make this team into a title contender. So far the D has been solid and compare to last year is already off to a great start.

I like Papa as backup SF. Once he gets some more muscle and is more athletic he could def be either SF or PF

I am not against it, I would rather he play 28+ than see scrubs play minutes. Can he defend the position enough to succeed and is he big enough?

I feel even without more muscles, he will be better than D-Mo. I am just not high on D-Mo at all like some are. Maybe I am too hard on him, but he is like 80% scrub to me and 20% unreachable potential.

At worst, it should be comparable to D-Mo IMO.

Jason Terry is a much more polished player then JL and he fits the personality of the team much better. No, I in no way miss Jeremy Lin. I recall laughing my ass off last night at how inept he looks.

Great win tonight. Defense got much better right before the half and in the 2nd half. Jet and Pap brought great energy from the bench. Yes we have a lot to work on but two convincing wins is good enough for me, especially on a back to back.

Only caught the fourth quarter, but I liked the way we closed it out. Slowed the game waaaay down and hit them with good defense. Was still Harden hero ball, but that's fine when you can get stops on the other end.
