I honestly don't see what 'effort' you are referring to. I remember two explicit 'good defensive' positions by Harden. Other than that he was his usual 'pretend to commit by swiping at the ball handler and then step out of the way' defense.

 

is this season a preview of the harden we will see the rest of his career?

 

I'm sure Mr. Clutch will stay up at night and have an introspective look at his posting quality in the GARM because of your very insightful critique.

It's also guys who have never played for the Rockets who are kicking our ass.

 

You mean Harden actually having the self-discipline and responsibility to go on a strict diet and cardio regiment. Brah, that's some wishful thinking:grin:

 

You can't use double standard on Harden.

He is a bad defensive player, you can not expect him to be anything close to decent one on one defensively. By this standard, at least his man did not get many back doors tonight and he actually ran back a few fast break, and had rotated reasonably well.

That's good enough for me.

Obviously that's not enough for many, because they just like to see him to score.

By no means I said Harden had a good game, he is shooting poorly, but that's ok to me, because he is doing ain't that bad on other things.

 

At this point I'll take him not ruining good steaks and getting 8 hours of sleep.

 

The game was a contest until the 4th quarter where their bench blew the game wide open. Harden's jumper couldn't fall all night and the Hornets were packing the paint on his drives.

Losing sucks but throwing a tempter tantrum because the team had the audacity to lose on the end of a 5 game road trip against a great team with an exceptional road record is pretty pathetic. The team played hard against the Raptors and Celtics and fought back to make this a contest but predictably tired.

 

A Frenchmen and two Asians.

 

We cry for shooters and defense. Rockets only acquire players who do ONE or NONE of those.

Living in both the South and the Northeast, the South has more 8's through 10's but the South also has PLENTY more 1's through 4's because of obesity in the South. Up her in Mass, not that many 8's and 9's but a lot more 5's to 8's.

This game is a continuing indictment on the staff . We are so reliant on harden he has to be aces or we get blown out . James even played above average d , didn't turn it over , and found open teammates . The only " blame " deserves is that he is the best player on the team and should " carry " us when we need it . Well we need it too damn much . James is a monster , has picked up his game on both sides of the floor , and is playing 40 minutes a game after the break . He isn't superhuman . He isn't prime Lebron athletically . He isn't curry shooting . However , when he is on he is just as good as those guys . He is so versatile . He is absolutely devastating in the pick and roll . He is unstoppable when he gets the ball off the catch rolling to he hoop .

He carry us every freakinn game and despite shooting poorly he carried us into the fourth . Those blaming him are trolls or idiots or both . What this team needs is a couple of teachers and to learn how to focus , and maybe a coach that can manage rotations significantly better .

 

Harden back will break with all the burden put on him.
