Budinger can't do his little curl around his defender because the Hornets' help defender is doing a good job getting into his path. That's basically neutralized his ability to drive.

Okafor isn't a really tall guy, but he really knows how to protect the paint. He's also fast enough to defend Miller on the perimeter and still get back to protect the lane. Impressive.

Hmm, did not know the game started at 6. Should I even watch the 2nd half now?

30 pts in the paint for the Hornets...all you need to know right there. If our two centers for the rest of the game going to be a 6'6 Hayes and Old Man Brad we have no chance winning against teams like that.

No matter how well they run Rick's offense.

The Adelman offense is generally kinda weak againt strong defensive teams. Normally we could counter with a guy who can create his own shot, but we dont have one.

Bad game for Scola; seems like he always plays poorly against New Orleans (David West?)

    More T-Willy please

The original post was insulting Scola's defense not his offense. HoustonN06 asked him to name a player that was good, in reference to Scola being terrible on defense. It's a list of foreign players that are are not terrible at defense. Nowitzki and Nash are just as bad as Scola defensively.

its kmarts fault. He gave up 30 in the paint and 10 to Marco. Ballgame.

That 2nd unit was playing good defense up until Pats fouled out, then it all went downhill from there. Rockets should start the 2nd half with Pats, Hayes, Martin, T-Will and Lowry.

So I know it's wrong but I really like the Hornets lineup...Moreso that Landrys there now.

I'm surprised they aren't a better team to be honest, they have everything our team really 'wants'.

Ok, not soft, just careless too often, apart of very limited.

About Kmart, I recognize his great things, but after watching him many games I seriously doubt you can win big with him. He really IS soft, very much.

People absolutely will disagree with this and I understand, but maybe I would have pulled the trigger with the Martin for Gortat trade. For sure we could have obtained something more.

This is pretty much the exact situation I wanted to see how Chase responded to as the starter. The Hornets are buckling down on defense, and right now Chase seems to be relying on that jumper just like I was afraid he would do.

I would like to see him continue to attack the basket a little bit.
