Switt has been playing well. Why is he in JVG doghouse?

Stro committed two offensive fouls in a row and let his man scored a couple of baskets with ease on him. JVG yanked him out of the game immediately and did not play him any more.

I hope you're joking about a preseason game.

Darko again blocked 6 shots tonight in 20 min against Dirk. Dude has some serious hop and might become another AK47.

what? We lost to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City/Tulsa/Ft.Smith/Amarillo/Wichita Hornets???

I'll never be able to show myself again at the Elks lodge in any of the above listed areas --

    signed,
what a joke of a franchise, hurricane or no hurricane...

Did anyone else notice the score after the last commercial break? The score was: Rox 86 -- Hornets 85. Please someone tell me who scored after that for the Hornets. I say no one score for them other than P.J. Brown at the buzzer. Head made the layup. If I missed something please let me know. If not we won this game.

Please tell the punk crew to come out. Because they have just successfully punk a whole team.

    Final Score
    Rox 88
    Hornets 87

    You're on my "turf" now...

Curtis Borchardt, Linton Johnson, Ben Handlogten, Sean Marks, Theron Smith, Mark Madsen, Ha Seung-Jin, possibly Mateen Cleaves and about a dozen players making 2 to 4 times Bowens' 900k salary.

Perhaps your YMCA friends are missing a golden opportunity to become millionaires. Then again, it's likely not a single one of them knows the base concepts of defensive rotations embedded in Gundy-ball. :p

This was a good game. We played well.

However much preseason games DON'T mean, they mean the world to a team like the Hornets. It's like giving a mercy lay to a fat girl.

First full game I've seen. Rafer Alston looks like a slightly slower version of Mike James that just drives a little better but shoots a little worse. He jacks up as many as Mike did for lot more $$$.

Still problems getting Yao the ball. This is freaking ridiculous.

I hope that Swift has more to offer then what I saw tonight.

Jeez, all this hype and they play so crappy right before the real season.

The difference is Rafer, when T-Mac and Yao are in the game, looks for them more than his own shot versus James looking for his own shot even with Yao and T-Mac in.

If preseason is supposed to be an audition for a coach to figure out the best 5 players to put out on the floor, I think JVG has to start considering benching DW. He is arguably the 4th best SG in the preseason, Anderson, Barry and Head have outplayed him.

I think JVG needs to start someone else and bring in DW as a backup until his game comes around.
