I am supportive of Lin, etc. But when you come down to it, everyone on the team contributes. For example, without Asik, you can say Rockets are screwed. So during this upcoming season, I have strong doubt whether Lin will even be a MVP in Rockets team. As to his shot not working during preseason, that is OK; what I find more worrisome is that he seems very hesitant when shooting; it's like he doesn't know whether to shoot or pass and hesitates too much. Damn it, it's preseason, so just go ahead and practice shooting the damn ball whether you make it or miss it -- that's what I want to say to him. There is a difference between passing the ball, even knowing you can shoot and make the shot; but here, he is passing the ball because he appears to feel not confident about his shooting. Therefore, I say to him: "Just shoot the damn ball confidently whether you make or miss the ball -- it's preseason for god's sake."
