Hornets have a nice future if they can keep Gordon happy and healthy, it's true.

Just need to be wary of TOs and shut down Gordon.

This is going to be a very tough game for the Rockets. The Hornets are rested and coming off two wins, including a win over the Spurs. The Hornets really gave the Rockets trouble the last time they played and now they have Gordon back. I'll actually be a little surprised to see the Rockets win this game. Can the Rockets bring the energy after an emotional win over the Lakers? McHale said he may have to go to the bench early tonight after last nights game, and that's probably a good idea. The Rockets are the hottest team in the league right now so the Hornets are going to be fired up to get the win. If the Rockets win I'll be very impressed.

It's just a running joke. Durant is always going off on the Rockets no matter who they play. :)

Def, Gordon 24 can be a top 5 SG, if healthy drop 20. Davis 19 can be a all star, a legit paint protector and shot blocker. Aminu 22 is nice, athletic good size rebounds well and can develop into a great defender. Anderson only 24 a great stretch 4 will drop 15 and 6-8 boards. Vasquez 25 is dropping 14-9-4.5 and is a great pg, last 10 games he's dropped 16.7 - 9.6 - 5.3...crazy #'s. R.Lopez also 24 is pretty solid too this season. Another good pick in the draft, a couple of good signings, let there players develop and there ready for the playoffs.

Well Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and Lebron all destroyed Lin so Gordon will probably as well.

Decided by Harden in the 4th Quarter.

    Lin comes out flat.

Kevin Durant drops 50 on Parsons.

Eric Gordon said that he's not in "full shape" and is "very sore after every game."
Gordon hasn't had any setbacks with his knee, and he did say that it's getting "better and better." The soreness is expected after such a lengthy layoff, but the good news is that he hasn't had any problems with the knee after all of the headaches it's caused him over the last two years. As long as he's in the lineup, owners should keep trotting him out there. Jan 9 - 8:26 AM

I can't post new threads, so I'll just post it here.

A good article on the Rockets:

Nobody's underestimating the Hornets now. With Gordon and Davis back they pretty much have it all. They have athleticism, three point shooting, penetration, and length in the frontcourt. Their only weakness is Austin Rivers. We can't run them off the floor, we need to execute.

If Austin Rivers play more than 20 min, Rockets will definitely win.

    Poor Austin Rivers.
The mockery is already starting in this thread and will only get worse at game time.
He needs to hang in there and not get discouraged cos he still has one of the best sounding names in the league, and no one can take that away from him...

Our bench has to step up in order for us to win this game. I watched the Hornets' last 2 games (road win vs Mavs and home win vs Spurs) and i have to say, they looked really impressive so don't be fooled by their record. Any team that can beat the Spurs can surely give us fits. We haven't even beaten SA in 3 games this season.

We are on two 4-games-in-5-nights back-to-back. Seriously need to drop 86 on the NOH in the 1st half and rest the starters the entire 2nd half.

Durant might set records against us over the next 20 games. But that 21st game on 2/20? Payback!

This is going to be a great match up for the next few years. Both very young, high potential teams. IF EG can remain healthy, you will have the best and 2nd best SGs facing off 4 times a year.

This will be a fun game to watch.
