I blame myself guys. I got off work, the Rockets were up by 4. I drove home, listened to the game on the radio, the Rockets pretty much maintained the lead all the way. I grab something to eat, drive to my house, and turn on the tv and the Rockets are up by 1 with about 8 minutes left in the game.

I sit down and start to eat... they lose by 9. This one is on me guys.

McHale: We had chances. It was 83 all. Timeout and then they made big 3 and then another big 3. 6 points and then we came down, had a couple shots we missed. LeBron is a hell of a player. ... Bottom line is it was a tie game, we had chances, we gotta make shots. It was self inflicted. 18 turnovers and they had 17 offensive rebounds. That killed us. ... When you have 17 or 18 turnovers and they get 17 O rebounds, you're not going to win.

I did something for the first time: when I saw we were going small in the 4th Q, I turned off the tv. First time-- and I've been rooting for the Rox since they moved to Houston from San Diego-- I've ever turned them off in disgust. No Camby = no rim protection = no way to win. Or wasn't that obvious already? Go zone if you have to, but keep the man on the court. Instead we replayed that failed strategy. Again. Sheesh.

McHale could not coach his way out of a paper bag.

So how long until we get the "this team has a bright future" speech from DM the GM?

Actually, I think going zone and having two players guard Lebron James any time he would dribble the ball passed the 3 point line would have worked. I've seen Lebron James make some silly passes that have led to turnovers towards the end of the game. It's just that Budinger's defense is so terrible. That last time he got crossed over just killed me on the inside. Some scrub crossed him over so bad, that Budinger was about 3 or 4 feet away from him and it gave the scrub a wide open shot which he made, of course.

I have to blame Mchale for this one. Our lineup was working fine until he went small towards the end of the game. That is when everything fell apart.

When he picks up some draft bust in a trade or free agency. I think everyone is getting sick of him playing the same old tune. I'm also sick of his sympathizers as well. Morey is a man and doesn't need other men defending his actions.

Not just bright future! Also talk about tons of cap space and roster flexibility, two draft picks, and potential to do big things! And then after he drafts the 6'9 F, he'll win fans over at that press conference, telling fans how great he is and/or can be!

Of course, the main reason why MM didn't become Melo with defense is because he got outplayed by Parsons who become a top 5 rookie in every ranking, but whatever don't let that fact ruin your ignorant post about DM's draft skills.

i would think a carmelo with defense would at least get consistent playing time throughout the season or impress the coaches during practice.

I don't know you Clutch but it must be painful for you to weather the storm and provide updates on each Rockets game. Mad respect yo. Sometimes, I just want to scream. So frustrating. :(
