If the Rockets lost against a really bad team, I would be pissed! I think this was a very good learning experience for them and hopefully they'll get better going forward. I feel a win tomorrow night!
At least Chandler played better D in the 2nd half. If everyone (Harden) would focus as much on D as they do on O, we'd win more.
i was at the game, such a petty we didn't win, my girlfriend is going crazy for all the tech foul shots and phantom calls the heat got beside me, really left a bad taste in my mouth, hope they can bounce back, let's go rockets! FTW
Rockets have two max players but it's always Jeremy's fault. I don't care if you criticize Lin's game but to single him out is outrageous. Sooo unreasonable. Smh
Though game, but pretty much knew this was going to be a loss going in. Looks like we played well, but then we just choked at the end. These last few games it seems like we have regressed a bit as a team, not what we want to see going into the playoffs. Hopefully we get it back on track. Still fuming about no one showing up for the Chicago game.
The Rockets did not intend to leave Ray Allen wide open coming out of fourth-quarter a time out. When the Heat substituted LeBron James back in the game, removing Chris Andersen, the Rockets rushed Jeremy Lin back on the floor to replace Terrence Jones, not wanting their power forward to have to match up against James, Dwyane Wade or Allen. In the confusion, no one matched up with Allen. “I was just as confused as you were,” Lin said. “We had two players trying to do two different matchups. We were both caught in the middle like, ‘who are we listening to or what is going on exactly?’ That was unfortunate. That was not a great situation.” Said Rockets coach Kevin McHale, “Our guys were running. I didn’t know what we did. From that point on, we really didn’t …” looks like a team fail
More like a coaching fail. McHale is just a really bad coach. When he couldn't draw up a play for the Laker's inbounding pass or prevent a 3 at all costs against Philly, I know he was incompetent on so many levels. This team has the talent but not the right guidance. Coach doesn't even know how to be detailed.
Agreed. But I wouldnt pay too much attention to it. You will notice it's always the _same) guys. I sense lots of anger there. *shrugs* Not sure _what_ the story is behind that is. Some of the bad play deserves the criticism but their reactions is way over the top, which takes away from when they have valid criticisms. Like the boy who cried wolf yadda yadda yadda. Loss is disappointing, but not unexpected.
Because at the time he had no viable PG options, so he had to pay more to secure Lin. And even that should not have kept the Knicks from matching. It was a great coup when the Rox got him, so kind of disingenuous now to complain about it. Rox never expected to get Harden and Howard.
Actually, I'm glad Lin took those shots. Shoot more, take the initiative. Will only help him in the future.
