If there was a team to play against without Harden, this is the one. They have no Star. Neither do we. Donatas and Josh need to step up. They both can do it. So we have a chance.
I really like what Josh has brought to the table for us. He's been as good as I could've hoped for. But this being against his old squad Atlanta (who's thriving) and without us having Harden, I have a bad feeling about Josh trying to prove a point and chucking 20+ FGA in this one. I'm hoping DMo is the offensive focal point in this one, and I'm also hoping Brewer/Jones take more shots than Josh. Josh is such a versatile player but he needs to stay in his lane tomorrow, he can't be out there trying to replace James as the go-to guy.
I kinda feel like after last game we are going to win I think our team confidence is gonna have them hyped. I like how they all stood up were were ready to fight someone on the court for each other
Honestly we shouldn't even take the flight out, just take the L and get day off for Memphis if it were allowed. Eastern Conference L on the road is the best L to take anyway. Focus on WC/Division Memphis @Home.
We lose: James is clear frontman for MVP We win: Amazing performance for our team; Hardens MVP campaign gets a little quiet I don't know what would be the better outcome
So you probably just slide Brewer right into the starting lineup. Obviously more minutes for everyone in the rotation. I could see Ariza and Brewer both going 36 minutes +.
I am more excited about this game than ever. It's Role Player Night. Let the good times roll. Now they get to be the STARS. Let it rip.
How many TOs will we commit? How many times will Bev try to playmake? I'd flip the bench and starting units. I'd play the bench first, then sub in the starters. The bench unit has ball movement. Our starters don't have a facilitator without Harden. Also play Prigs and McDaniels more minutes. Wish we had Capela up with us.
Man. It would be so NICE if Josh dropped 30 on the Hawks...but he won't. My prediction DMO: 18 points. 8 boards. 3 assist Jones: 18 points 15 rebounds 2 assists 2 blocks Smith: 16 points 8 rebounds 8 assists 2 blocks Brewer: 13 points 4 rebounds Ariza: 14 points Terry: 10 points
