Parsons will have a good game. He is going against Kyle Korver. I expect another big game from our starting guards, but the Hawks have the advantage in backup guards: Louis Williams and Anthony Morrow. Starters are Devin Harris and Jeff Teague, so they are starting 2 point guards.

Considering the strength of the Hawks is Horford and Smith, who likes to drive to the basket, Asik has to be careful about picking up fouls. I don't think Morris can defend Smith. They may put Parsons on him if Patterson has trouble.

But Harden is so boss, he'll get his anyways. With the amount of opportunities and space Lin creates so easily, he can't not score in the high teens plus especially if Harden is going to attract so much attention from the defense. Expect high numbers from Lin this season. I originally did not expect him to average more than 15 pts after watching the preseason games, but with Harden I expect a solid 18/8, proving himself out there largely thanks to Harden.
In retrospect, I think Lin didn't score during preseason, not only cuz he's shot was all outta whack, his focus was on distributing cuz who else was gonna do it, Martin? Now that we have Hardcore Harden who can and will penetrate create and dish, Lin's gonna look to score much more.

As a TOF, I watched every Hawks game last year, and I don't get the fascination with Josh Smith. Low IQ chucker, who for some reason thinks his jumper from long range and just inside the 3 pt line is better than it really is. Can't really dribble the ball. Overrated defense. Do people really think he's worth the max? Now that I said that, watch him have a career night tonight. /antijinx
I missed the last game due to some important stuff, won't miss this game again. Go Rox! Put on a show for us Harden!
It should be a good game tonight. I am looking forward to watching this game. The Hawks will be ready for Harden and I want to see what changes McHale will make to adjust as the game proceeds.
Asik cleans up the glass with 15 or so boards tonight, Harden and Lin go off, T Jones and Motie get some run and we win....2-0 would be great to see!!
