Our team wouldn't be relevant today if Harden wasn't literally handed to us on a silver platter.

 

We need to make a trade for defenders ASAP, I dont care if they can shoot(welll just above 30% please lol). Just get me a James Johsnson, a Markeif Morris or MGK...anything please.

 

How many times Harden drived towards the basket in this game when Carter was guarding him?

 

Thank God for Gerald Green. Without him we would have lost tonight. 4/4 threes, 17 points.. Scored almost all our points in the 3rd quarter when everyone else on the team went into give it up mode.

 

He’s lost the ball untouched a couple of times. Just dribbled it out of bounds, at this point you’re not counting on his scoring. You hope he hits open threes and at least sets up the offense but when he’s not doing that there’s no one else but Harden that should handle the ball.

 

At the two minute mark, CP3 dribbled for 21 seconds and passed to Harden to bail him out with 3 seconds left. And do you really not see Paul forcing threes when he loses track of the shot clock. How many times has he been blocked on a 3 this year? ugh

At least Harden can always get a clean look (for him) with that historically great step-back...side-step...generating a lot of fouls from guys jumping into him, too.

Are you really christening JEVON CARTER as the new Harden stopper? The one thing that happens with JH is that he takes a while to adjust to younger, aggressive defenders. I'll give you that. But he always figures them out in the end, and the result is never pretty for the other team. See James Ennis last year, where he "shut down" Harden in the first matchup (especially in the fourth) and was a non-factor against him ever since. Especially not now, since they're teammates.

The best defenders against Harden are disciplined, veteran guys who don't waste their energy chasing him full court. Let's not underestimate James Harden's offensive ability, at least.

I had said the same things several seasons ago.

Actually there is no difference between a Lin fan or a Harden fan when it came down to the facts.

Because both are just delusional and never wanted to face the truth.

Our rotation is complete garbage. Nobody will last into the playoffs with only 7 players in the rotation.

 

The Clips and Wolves are about to lose. The Jazz and Spurs and Grizzlies already have. What a great day to start climbing the ladder. The Rockets need to keep this up and they'll be right back into the thick of it sooner rather than later.

 

So dissapointing to see cp3 with another subpar game. This is like the 4th or 5th game in a row.

Yes, I know rockets are on a winning streak but they’re not going anywhere if this is the Cp3 we’re getting. Can’t expect harden to do it all on his own.

 

There's still time for some personnel moves that would expand the rotation.

He is not a starter. At this point I would take him as a limited bench player if we have to have him, but really he should not be on this team. Your judgement is clouded as always becuase you guys fall in love with anyone in a Rockets uniform no matter what our record is or how they play.

 

This is patently false. Tucker was one of the best defenders of Harden and he had success pressing him full court while playing for the Suns.

I made a comment based on the events happened during the game.

You didn’t like it, proceeded to challenge by saying Harden will love to play 4 v 4 if the other team will have a guy playing him full court defense.

I proceeded to ask a question : so how many times he drived when Carter was guarding him?

Yet, your response was : another Harden hater.

If you still don’t get it, then you will never get it.

 

And Harden hit a game winner in his face, too. Tucker was successful against Harden primarily in the half-court, and his strength allowed him to weather Harden’s drives somewhat. And even Tucker wasn’t consistently effective against Harden either.

The point is that time after time people think Harden has been figured out, but his offensive skill set makes it difficult to truly shut him down.
