no, they're gonna put the whole team on tmac in the 2nd half (unless he bails them out w/ those 3s again).

we HAVE to use tmac as a decoy now and get yao some dunks.

the only way tmac is gonna score now is on deep Js b/c he's not gonna have any breathing room.

There was a little push by Yao, Gasol also acted a bit.

b/c our role player ssuck. they can double tmac into taking tough Js or front yao like this. if our role players can actually penetrate to break down a D or make their shots, then tmac and yao can have better games together.

Kinda worried about Scola. He looks pretty down on himself, and that Gay dunk (no pun intended) would have rattled anyone. Hope he turns the corner sooner rather than later.

The Grizzlies have been content to let McGrady get good looks in isolation because they are doubling Yao off the ball. We aren't trying to get Yao the ball. Yao is playing atrocious defense and doing nothing on the boards.

Yao is tentative and lethargic, saving energy for tomorrow? :(

Our role player STILL suck? Geez, at least give them a few more games to gel man. You keep preaching patience but it seems that you don't subscribe to your own teachings.

Yao was busy helping others on defense.

Man, if that was Yao instead of Scola getting dunked on, there would be 20 new vidclips on youtube.

Yeah, but i think he will be fine. Keep in mind he's only played about a dozen games here. He just needs to get used to it

well i don't mean ALL, i just mean rafer :D . it's hard for tmac and yao to dominate at the same time when rafer's man can roam around and double our stars.

It's been a pretty decent game, but that's whats troubling. It really shouldn't be. With Mac playing so well, we should be blowing them out.

Our defense has been just miserable. Chuck's fouls hurt, Scola is playing no defense (see: Rudy Gay), and for some reason Darko always gets to Yao. Battier's played poor too.

I don't know if its the lack of energy in the stadium with all those empty seats, but this game just feels too nonchalant on our behalf. We should be blowing them out.
