The first 8-10 regular season games should tell the story. Has Bev regained his stout perimeter D of 2013? His 3-pt shot appears to be solid. Having him finally become a legitimate 3&D guard would be tremendous.

    But, yeah, can't lie . . . I'm a little nervous too.

Coach needs to tell Dekker to let it fly when it comes to him and he's open. "Relax, this is preseason, it doesn't matter if you miss."

Thank goodness for the ignore capability.

It was great seeing the Rockets on the floor again.

We have a great product to put out on the floor.

Jeeze one pre-season game and the sky is falling according to some people here. SMH

While I'm not ready to move Bev out, you should really watch KJ's defense. It's absolutely suffocating, and doesn't require Bev's over aggressiveness. He's got great instincts, length and athleticism.

Everything the ball-handler does is harder when KJ is on him.....even just passing it off. If only he could learn to shoot.

In most cases the starters should be your best 5 players, and even if they don't "start", they should get the most minutes. Our top 5 right now are.....

    Lawson
    Harden
    Ariza
    DMo
    Dwight

We don't need "offense off the bench" if we rotate minutes properly. Start Lawson and DMo, then sub them out for Beverley and TJones at the 6 minute mark. When Harden sits, sub them back in.

One thing that I already knew but was reinforced last night.......we really need PFs that can shoot the ball in this offense. DMo is one, and Ariza can play some time at the 4 as well. I think we need one more, and I'd give a bunch of stuff to Chicago for Mirotic.

Maybe that's not his goal, I think with every post he's trying to get closer to admitting he needs to check into AA.

Just watched the game. Ariza, Bev, and Brewer looked in mid season form. Love the way Lawson can handle the ball. Dekker was nervous, but he has good size and is athletic. Capela is definitely bigger. Bullard said Capela put on about 20 pounds. You can see why the Rockets wanted to keep KJ. The guy is an athletic freak. Should be a fun year.

Saw more than enough to be really positive about this season.
Lawson looked like a great fit from the 1st minute.
We shot 3 from 20 something 3 pointers - provided the % improves in the regular season, nothing to be concerned about.
Only question from me is why it took so long for KJ to get minutes. Damn he looked good. Hope we see a lot more of him.
