ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 2/26/2014

Can someone do highlights tonight with the Clippers announcers in them? They are my favorite to listen too!

 

We're due for a win against these guys. Rockets need to start off strong and maintain being the aggressor he entire game.

 

I agree, but we are 17-12 against >.500 teams and the clippers are 16-13. That sentence could be the same for them too.

 

I hope so, this will get DH12 and rest of team movtivated like they did in the Laker game.

 

We have not beat the clippers yet with harden in the starting lineup. The game we won last year in Houston harden was out hurt. Hardens been beasting lately hopefully he gets up for this one and puts these guys in the books like he did last night !

 

Harden averages something like 13 points a game against the Clips. I think tonight, he will change that.

I think its no way he puts up these kind of numbers today, hes been playing with a chip on his shoulder since after allstar break. If him and howard have a solid game tonight I think we come out with the W

 

A real test tonight. This game and the OKC game loom big as indicators on whether we are ready to do well in the playoffs.

Throw in Miami x2, Portland, and Indiana in the next 10 games - and it's clearly the biggest test of how much this team has grown since Nov.


You hope we can win half those games. To do that, winning tonight is so critical.

0-2 vs the clips, time to change that and go into an important stretch that will more than likely determine home court advantage.

Huge game and great matchup..man I'm excited for this one! The Rockets bench will have to show up tonight. This is the perfect game for Lin to break out of his recent slump and I'm betting Hamilton sees minutes tonight as well.

 

Hard to predict any game, but this one especially. I never like the chances of a team coming off a back to back playing a rested team, but it is winnable. Who is guarding Griffin? (key) I think Bev will do O.K. against Paul. I hope Cliff Paul shows up instead of Chris. This will likely be one of those last minute of the fourth for the win games. Howard must have a big game.

It seems like we are always having to play good teams on the second half of a back to back. A win tonight by the Rockets would make a real statement. Most people still feel that the Clippers are stronger title contenders than the Rockets. A win tonight by the Rockets might change a few minds. A Rockets win would be very impressive.
