ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 2/13/2013

so for those who hate on all the iso harden playcalls, enjoy this one! For better or worse, will be interesting to see how team plays. Will obviously force better ball movement. an interesting test tonite. lot of frankenstein experiments i would think by coaches to brew some recipes for rest of season and playoffs.

 

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict 4+ TOs from Delfino in this game.

 

Lob City will win

 

We're going to get killed without Harden

We don't have enough fire power unless Lin, Parsons, and Asik are all in God mode.

 

I'm braced for a loss against the Clippers, whether Harden plays or not.

If Harden plays he's banged up and I don't expect a great game.

If Harden doesn't play we don't have enough firepower for me to feel comfortable against Chris Paul and Co. We sure aren't going to be stopping them defensively.

I just want to see good effort and a somewhat competitive game. Heck, just rest Harden so he's good for a post ASG push...

 

Alls I know is its gonna be a great game if we keep it competitive, on the road, versus a too notch team, without our best player. They har some tough players, I don't see us matching up with them at all, especially after last nights game on a bak to bak. What was the score te previous one we played?

 

Over or under 100 tomorrow without harden?

...for a mega beatdown can't help it. they're playing lights out this year, Harden's out, and we're playing them on the road on the second night of a back to back. I'm thinking 20 point loss.

Trap game for the Clippers as they're gearing up to destroy the Lakers tomorrow and won't be focused tonight.

 

As long as it's a fun/competitive game, its all good!

The question is who takes Harden's place in the starting lineup.

Regardless, our starters will have the edge over their starters, but our bench will be at a substantial disadvantage to their bench, especially if Delfino takes Harden's spot in the starting lineup (hopefully McHale will start Anderson instead).

 

If Harden doesn't play Parsons and Lin will have to be in beast mode. Also please stop letting Delfino dribble drive and pretend to be the point guard. I cringed every time he had the ball and try to create.

 

our starters are going to be right there with their starters. Their backups will destroy ours and that will be that. =/

 

you guys dissing TD need to respect him more. He saved Rockets i think 2 times this season. Comebacks. Has Beverly ever done that?

 

Yeah we can use some 3s from TD. Too bad he's injured.
