We played them tough man, gotta give a lot of credit to our defense with McLemore showing some serious hustle alongside Tucker who was just a monster. Glad Thabo had a nice game for once on offense. Harden and Westbrook were very solid, aside from the usual turnovers. We did well on making ourselves available when Harden was double-teamed, but hope we will get better as at times it seemed like guys weren't sure what to do. Rivers made up for his awful first half with all those forced threes with hands in his face.

I have to be honest though that this was a winnable game and while it was not on the referees, not in the slightest, we let a couple of (non) calls affect us way too much. MDA not calling a time-out when it was clear the defense was going to be set and you had 15 seconds left was also big. I also think MDA should've challenged that 3rd foul by Westbrook on the moving block by Harrell, that was even acknowledged by Burke. I actually think the Burke was fair for the first time in my life about the bad calls on both sides. Some real ticky-tack stuff.

Westbrook shooting that 3 was the worst of all though, my god, you hit a couple of nice shots and kept us in the game, but man. Even those lay-ups where he was more worried about the call, TWICE! when he's usually playing through crazy contact. I will however not pound on him like some here do with CP3 references and all that, without Westbrook nor anyone else for that matter this game would've been lost. We played them well with key injuries so kudos to our team. We simply have to learn from this.

It took Clippers some absurd plays go in their way for them to win by 3. We didnt hit ft, Russ blowing layups and we still smoked them for the most part. Being in the bonus for 4q is why we lost but still if we play like that we can win with anybody. I dont think we as good as 17-18 but again, there is no gsw around this time so if we retain EG GG and House, alongside bringing some Strong wing... a lot of ifs but watch out

I hate we lost 2 games in a row and our losses are against the contenders at that but I still have confidence that by playoff time will be better and ready.

Just watched this. Too much Russ in the last minute & Clippers hit some not simple shots.

    On to the next.

Of course we would have sang a different tune. But the reality is..... it was a bad shot to take. He was shooting bad from the 3pt all night, has been shooting badly from the 3pt all season. For a guy who is pretty efficient with his layups and dunks, he passed up basically a wide open lane for a dumb 3pt shot with a good 7 seconds left on the clock. We literally didn't even need a 3pt, so it's even more confusing of why he even took that shot.

2 dumb decisions in the final minute cost us the win. His 3pt shot and Capela's contested layup.

I'm glad someone does, because I sure as hell don't.

Harden's greatness and a thus far really soft schedule is masking major, major issues.

Let’s face it. the West may be “wide open,” that’s been the meme this season, but the teams at the top are in a dog fight. Winning the West won’t be easy. I’m convinced that we’ll do it, but we could really use more depth. That, and a healthy Eric Gordon. He would have been far better down the stretch last night than Russ, in my opinion, or even with Russ and James. Westbrook was battling, I’ll give him credit for that, but I groaned when he hoisted that 3.

With Eric Gordon at the top of the key near hard, they can't just double off him so easily...he's our X Factor... with him and house in, Russ can go to the far corner for spacing

I just saw the end of the game. On the possession when Clint gets blocked that leads to a fast break for the Williams go-ahead three, Westbrook took forever to get back in the play.

@2:50. he made no effort to get back on defense

We were up 6 in the final minutes, we played the clips evenly and could’ve won that game with better execution. No team in the West scares me and we aren’t even healthy

Team played well and fought, Capela fought on the boards, Harden hit shots, love Russ but he needs to finish, those two blown lay ups were pretty bad.
