I really ask myself if the Rockets leadership plans to switch every single play of this season. I get it, its a useful tool, we need to master that as a tool, but expecting to work every single time when we have at times 3 stars on the cours is nonsense.

Having 3 stars is not as good if they are not all trying to play every aspect of the game at the same time.

 

Lol our 3 faves Melo , MCW , and hartenstein are on the floor for that .

In al seriousness good job. This is why I thought overall hartenstein had a solid debut .

 

Clean house and move forward! Can't wait for it to happen!

I'd just like to know what in Melo's jump shot mechanics makes him miss so many open looks.

 

It looks good . But Gallinari coulda killed us with a 3

 

Like i been trying to tell you guys no one is gonna run away With the conference this year. Evwrybody is gonna be beating each other up. Matter of fact if the rockets dont win it all iys gonna be a team from the east to win the ship this year sinc3 they wont have to go thru the grinder night in night out...someone mark this post even the warriors will take thier lumps this year. Everybody Competitive this year

 

It's rhythm and comfort.

 

The funny thing is MDA hardly gave Harrell any playing time when he was in Rockets.

 

He wants it to look pretty.

 

It was a clear mistake. He had great chemistry with Harden.

 

I think y'all are blinded by Harell's 29% DRB% over 3 games this year. In his last year with us, he couldn't grab rebounds for **** (14% DRB%), the problem made even worse as he played C with no other strong rebounders. Whenever Clint came out and Montrezl came in, we gave up offensive rebounds like it was 2015-16 again.

 

First three games what I’ve learned.

Harden is as good as ever. Absolute offensive god

Cp3 looks just as good as last season if not better

Ennis in time might be good with more games under his belt.I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Clint’s rebounding has not been great but is starting to crank it up

MCW is not a rotational caliber player.

Melo the jury is still out but really struggling shooting the ball

Green has been great.

 

I havent seen Harrell this year other than last night. I've had these exact same thoughts about him since before he left. MDA was treating him like a scrub and he most certainly is not. He did not give the guy a chance. BTW what happened to Tariq Black definitely missing him right now.

 

I never said he was a scrub, but his lack of rebounding combined with no strong rebounders at PF that year limited his playing time.

Black is playing For Maccabi Tel Aviv, IDK why anyone misses him, he was a scrublord last year, couldn't rebound, nor protect the rim, nor defend the perimeter, and failed as a P&R threat with Harden and CP feeding him. I'm not sure he'd be any better than Hartenstein and he's 7 years older.

 

I really did take this for granted last year. Though schemes are learnable. Talent isn't.
