Not only is he not healthy but he came into training camp out of shape and he’s still out of shape.

 

Last time we played Boston we had 14 turnovers. We already have 11 at the half. Gotta play smarter.

 

He looked pissed. Hopefully he comes out firing. I bet WB is lighting a fire under everyone’s ass in that locker room.

 

The defense has been fine. They've actually hit a couple of tough 3pt shots that normally wouldn't go in. It's our offense that's been the problem. Beside Westbrook, the other players look off. Harden has been okay at times, but he's not having much room in the paint to drive..... the Celtics are literally bringing 2 or 3 guys over to take away his lane.

Good adjustment by Boston on those drives with obvious home cooking.

Beard need to adjust and counter by going mid-range especially when the officials are not calling it and Boston is allowed to get handsy. It has always been in his arsenal, got to keep the defense honest.

And that commentator with the pervasive anti-Rocket slant is toxic.

 

I thought we played better in the second quarter
I mean we down 11 after they had a 6 pt play

Jump Under harden? Harden barely gets off the ground when he drives to finish. That's why he gets blocked so easily.

 

it's not that simple. defenses can sag off WB when Harden has the ball. Harden doesn't have that luxury. if you watch, look at the secondary defenders behind Harden's man. A lot of times when Harden is dribbling, he's scanning the defense behind the primary defender.

WB has more space to play with, but yeah, he's also faster, (and no one is faster in transition). In ISO, Harden makes up for it with better dribbling.

house cant make no shots then gets abused on defense.

 

Harden's dribbling hasn't been effective lately, he needs to get back to 2017-2018 Harden Dribbles.

 

It would technically easier for Harden to drive as defenders care about his jump shot and play up to his body. It's harder to blow by guys when they sag off you.
