ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Celtics 1/13/2014

Love the finish in Spanish--reminded me of George Carlin's bit about listening to the Spanish broadcasters call a baseball game...think it was Carlin, but, IDK

 

It's not like asking Asik to be a scorer at all. Harden & Lin are both very skilled at both distributing & scoring. Now you can get into an argument as to who is better at what, but they have a similar skill set, which is why some think pairing Pat with Harden makes more sense (although last night Lin & Harden played great together). Asik, on the other hand, is not a skilled scorer.

 

Sounds like Dwight is buying into pick-and-roll now? Love the adjustments the team is making last few games.

im not a lin fan by any means... but that was the best on ball and help defense ive seen him play since becoming a rocket... maybe sampson told him if he wants to play more, work on your defense

Great to have Parsons back. He may not be our best player, but maybe he is our most important player to have on the floor. The offense just works better when he is in the lineup.

TJones just keeps having good games. He's a long way from being a finished product, but he is contributing in a big way every game.

The Rockets are learning how to get the ball to Dwight. Boston is a bad team, so I guess that played a part, but the Rockets did a good job of getting Dwight the ball.

Lin had a really good game.

Looking forward to getting Bev and Asik back in the lineup.

What an idiotic statement. Clutch has been running this site for well over a decade, the vast majority of that time doing it on his own dime and the contributions of members, without any ads at all. He has upgraded the servers and software out of his own pocket. He has a family, kids, a business that has to take a huge amount of his time, a business that he supports that family with, and ClutchFans remains both his hobby and his passion (aside from Mrs. Clutch, of course!), and something he could walk away from tomorrow if he became beyond tired of reading crap from "members" like you. And to top it off, you've never bothered to contribute to this BBS that you are so busy using to crap all over its owner.

The way things are going, there won't be two sides much longer. One side has angered the power that be, and wrath shall cleanse all the evil out of the site.

 

This refutes the statements by some who say that Lin's "disappearance" on the offensive end in previous games was due to Lin himself. It is clearly due to coaching strategy and Lin is simply following orders
