Tony has been known as a very weak player since he was in NY. Do you think some extended playing time will change anybody's mind. GM's are not dull.

Yes. It is very obvious that Lin's role has changed. Lin said it did during an interview. h
He said he is focused on taking care of the team.

That must have been so hard for you to be misrepresented as a Lin fan that doesn't like Kevin McHale. The horror.

    Memory lane....

When we first acquired James, Jlin and James were playing beautiful team basketball......until the "democratic ball" That's when they started to put the ball in James' hands more and started using Jeremy as a spot up shooter.

I hope they will continue using Jlin as a pg and let him play through some of his mistakes. Consistency comes with experience.

    Go Rox!

We're human being. Sometime we say stupid things, especially at the peak of emotion. We got to learn to give others a pass sometimes. This is why I don't like name calling or labeling someone LOF, ROF, etc, because it is too generalizing and counter-productive to your otherwise valid arguments.

As for trolls, whose intention is simply to stir up controversy. You did a right thing and banned them. For me, I simply ignore them. I am always careful with the way I present my argument. But you never know how others may interpret it. The rule I use is that if it is sth you yourself won't like sb else say to you, then don't say it.

    Sincerely,

During Linsanity, Lin made alley oops with Chandler and Fields with ease.

Rockets need to be giving Howard 3-5 alley-oops a game. Lin, Parsons, Harden, and Casspi can all do it.

I am extremely happy with JH last night. He showed a lot of more maturity recently. Even when his shots were not falling, he was doing other things that can help us win games, like rebounding, fighting through screening, not giving up playing after getting beaten on defense.

Me too, it looks like Harden is giving up the ball a little more to let Lin run the offense and Harden playing some D

Totally agree. The team is now playing like a true team. I noticed his rebounding as well, and his sharing of the ball was great. Indeed, the whole team really moved the ball very well. I think Harden is looking better and better in most aspects of his game.

I think it is a combination of health + 2nd half of the season rolling around. Better teams start putting effort into the little things. Even Miami has been coasting so far

It's not a "blame", I mean, I for one just could't help myself wondering why do you pay a PG 3 years 25 MIL to play SG, and ask your best scorer to spend a lot of his energy to distribu the ball?

It's like ask Asik to be a scorer instead of defense and rebound, I am just wondering what is the logic for this, that's all.

Yes, McHale has been quoted in the last 2 post-game interviews that he gave the ball to Lin because he liked the way Lin is pushing the pace. I posted the quotes in last game thread too.

Here is the link for interviews/quotes for this game:

Guys are playing team ball and getting the ball to Dwight. Also helped that we have Parsons back. I am really looking forward to the OKC game, hoping we'll get a much better result than last time.

agreed, it's a team game no one is bigger than team and when all players are healthy this is a very good team, we win games and everyone gets along
if not healthy the end result is a forum full of blame and a major tradefest that is totally unreadable.

Clutch, I commend you for bringing us Rockets fans this great site, but as an admin, you shouldn't really be taking sides (and yes, I am on the Lin fan, Mchale hater side).

I remember during the YOF vs TOF days, you were against both sides even to the extent of censoring those words.

I think the problem is Lin isn't on Harden's level as Yao was on Mcgrady's level. I like Lin and defend him a lot, but there are some really annoying fans of Lin that just keep trashing down others to make excuses for Lin.
