jtr is the only poster I have ever ignored on any internet forum. I can tell he's not posting because every other post isn't "this poster is on your ignore list."

    Watch the games?

I am. And I am watching a wide open Ariza brick shot after shot.

He needs to hit those to help this team.

Defense is great, but good offense beats great defense.

Someone needs to be Benched..Beverly or Ariza..pick your poison? Brewer needs to be in the starting lineup if these two continue to lay rotten eggs most of the game. I'm scared to combine Beverly/Ariza's shots made versus attempts over the past 10-20 games. The thought of it rings of Stephen King

yes, their seasons are over and blowing it up and sacking the coach are the only things that can now save okc and dallas

We are 5 and 5 in our last 10 games. Thats not a good trend.

The Rox are also 3 games behind the first place in the NBA and its not even all star break. Is that a bad trend too?

Was at the game. The cavs in game entertainment is absolutely amazing.

Howard was talking to trash talkers most of the game lol.
Harden literally does get fouled on most plays.
Josh Smith is a good player in person and passes the eye test.
Ariza and Brewer are extremely long.
Fun team to watch for sure. These rockets are a great group.

I don't think we played well but I will take a win any day of the week. Makes up for when we play well and lose (cough refs cough). We need someone to find their shot soon if we want to have a chance in the post season. Still think we need a trade though.

For all his bricking Ariza is still hitting 30% from the 3, not great but not horrible either esp when he only takes seven 3 pt shots a game on average. On a typical night Ariza will take 7 three point attempts and make 2, then he'll take 4 two point shots and he'll make 2 as well. But in exchange he will guard the opponents best player and he'll get 1-2 steals, 2 assists and 6 rebs. Dude's a good player overall for the Rockets, and you'll see that if you watch games as a whole and don't focus on the misses you saw Ariza make.

If we are 5-5 we are moving away from that goal not toward it.

I feel you. I just wanted some people to understand why others may be negative. The trends are negative, so you cant blame people for being a bit negative.

You really think a team with new players are supposed to go 8-2 pr 7-3 without practicing much? We need to be realistic and revisit in 2 months or so. We lost to San Antonio and the Wizards by a total of 5 points without practicing playing games on the fly. Two top ranked teams for goodness sakes. That's two games that are part of that 5-5 record you keep bringing up. Gotta be realistic. Take a hit now for a bigger gain later.
