This is true considering how all they have is Irving. We have multiple weapons.

Excited about watch Irving play for the first time. Not excited about all the much-expected Lin bashing lol....

I would bet that if LOFs dialled down their fanboy noise, would see a similar decrease in Lin bashing. At least that what hallucinate to be true :p

Kyrie will get his 30 pts but so will Harden. We'll come out with a win.

This team is 8-26 and gives up 100 points a game while only scoring 94. In the Eastern Conference. And they're missing their second best player.

If the Rockets don't win this one, we screwed up. Bad.

Stop calling it a "trap game". It's just a game we should win. Plain and simple.

Does Jeremy Lin hold lil' Kyrie to under 40 tonight?

Seriously though, I'd expect Toney Douglas to get a lot of run this game. He was stellar last night, and may be the Rockets' only hope of slowing up Irving--unless they want to resort to putting some length on the promising young point guard. Phil Jackson playoff mythology aside, that seems to not work just as often as it does.

Irving is a terrible defender Lin need's to attack him as much as possible to get him in foul trouble.

The First lesson of the New Age of Rockets basketball....

When you have the #1 offense in the NBA, you're never really out of the game. No opponent can afford to sleep on the Rockets, no matter how big the lead is...

This is encouraging but also highly unrealistic.

This should be an easy game for the Rockets. Cavs have no shot blocker and no perimeter defenders. It'll be a lay up line for Harden and Lin. Lin will do a job containing Irving, forcing him to long contested jumpers. We'll probably see a lot of small ball action tonight.

The way kyrie has been playing recently.... may god help us all haha.

Hopefully lin doesnt get torched. We can get an easy win if lin is agressive because kyrie is a bad defender.

Otherwise, harden can cancel kyrie out in points and its up to the others to step up... which i easily belive they will.

Anything can happen in any given game. One game is the very definition of "small sample size".

But that doesn't change the fact that the Rockets are still heavily favored to win tonight. Whether that will actually happen remains to be seen, but to behave like there is some kind of reasoning to suggest this game is a "trap" is just the kind of pseudo-logic I hate seeing here.

If the Rockets played tonight's Cavs team 100 times they'd probably win between 80 and 90 of those games.
