a- DAMN Morrison will do us in.

35 plus, Rocks lose 97 - 84. On their way to a Washington where they'll lose again 101-90.

Yep, the enthusiam meter is waaaay down.

According to the fantasy game, Yao Ming should get a double-double due to the Bobcats weak interior rebounding, with only Okafor protecting the paint, and he can't be everywhere at once, can he ;)? Rockets pull this out, 97-72, Yao Ming with 26 pts, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists.

Another Rox win, but not that easy
Yao find his rhythm, get 35pts to keep his ppg, cause he only got 14 last game, also get more rbs, 14 will be OK, 4asts, 3blks
    T-Mac with 30pts and 10asts.
    Rox go!

Morrison and Bird couldnt be further from each other. They're tall white guys with a stache and shot & thats the only commonality. All Morrison does and ever did was chuck up shots. No rebounding, no assists, no D, blocks, steals. Overrated. Slightly better Szcerbiak.

He's probly just seen what happened in the Phoenix-New Jersey game today - 161-157 in double OT :) Highest scoring game since 1983... Nash had a career high 42pts, Kidd went off for 38-14-14, but dribbled the ball off his foot to lost the game :)

Anyway, no way Rox will lose this, last game was too painful, and we will have our revenge. An easy win over a pretty lacklustre team - no elevated blood pressures in this game, up by 20 from tipoff to the final buzzer :)

If Rockets play as good they can this game will be easy. But we have to respect every team.

    YAO first scorer
    V-Span 10 points+ and 1 turnover only.

My prediction for the game with my own ode to Daryl Morrey statistical analysis:

    Rockets Starters
    Yao - 10
    Hayes – 4
    Battier - 5
    McGrady - 8
    Alston - 4
    6th man
    Head - 4
    Bench
    V-Span - 1
    Mutombo – 1
    Howard - 2

    Bobcats Starters
    Okafor – 8
    Morrison - 4
    Wallace - 4
    Felton - 5
    Knight - 5
    6th man
    May - 5
    Bench
    D. Anderson - 2
    Brezec - 1
    Othella - 1

    Formula: (Starters x 2) + (6th man x 1.5) + (Bench x 1) + 3 for home court advantage + number of wins in last 10 games (momentum factor)

    Rockets total: 79.0
    Bobcats total: 70.5

    Therefore, Rockets win. :)
Matador prediction record to date: 9-3

A must-win game for the Rockets after playing so poorly in Minny, need to bounce back in a big way to stay mentally healthy on our road trip. Rockets 8-1 at home btw, only "loss" was to SA ;)

    Rockets win: 94-82

unfortunately the Bobcats have the upper hand on Houston...

the Rockets should look to buck that trend this season, starting tonight!

lets see how long we can go without losing two in a row....

We always play down to the level of the Bobcats. We're 1-3 all-time against them. Tonight is the start of the Rockets dominating the Bobcats.

    Rockets 92
    Bobcats 78

Everybody thinks this will be an easy win. We have lost our last 2 in Charlotte and Charlotte has already beaten teh spurs this year. Morrison is very inconsistent but if he brings his game and Omeka gives Yao trouble, this game could be closer than people think....If we lose this game, it will be very bad for us...but I still think we will prevail..I hope
    Rockets win

Morrison has been very inconsistent and so has his team. We need to jump on them early and they will start jacking up junk.

We need to come out on fire, with Yao for the first 13 or so points. Then the space time coninuum will be restored.
